“This stop was one of the highlights of my Nashville trip. Get the chicken and sausage gumbo. You won't regret it. It's packed with flavor and has a little kick that's greatly appreciated, no matter what the weather is. It's in a great location, so the outdoor seating is perfect for people watching while you wait for dinner. We ordered a couple of apps, a chicken and sausage gumbo, and a gumbo flight. I highly recommend the flight to try the different flavors. What a fun idea. I'll be dreaming of these flavors until I return.”

“I decided to try this place after looking online for a good local soul food place. They advertise everywhere online that the plates are $5.49 for a meat and 2 they have a sign posted new pricing effective immediately $15.99 for a meat and 2 so that was fine I didn’t mind paying for a good plate they did give hefty portions but once I got back to eat it the food was extremely salty I love a good salting but this was beyond edible. I got the Salisbury steak Mac n cheese and greens the meat was tough Mac n cheese was good a moist but again too salty same with the greens. Great service but I came for the food”
