“I really do love this place. This was my second time going and they did not disappoint. I brought my friend this time from North Carolina and he also loved it. Antonio is the best! He brought us some strawberry cake when he came over to check on us and overheard a heated conversation LOL. All is well and the strawberry cake was amazing. I didn’t even know they had cake on the menu. Antonio, thank you for the laughs and the wonderful meal”

“I can't say enough great things about this place!! My son chose to go here for his 13th birthday this evening. The staff was very patient and polite with my 3 kiddos ordering and asking questions about the menu. I asked if they could sing Happy Birthday to my son. Our waitress had the staff come over and they sang! Then, the owner came over and shook his hand. He took time to talk with my son about his college choice and him wanting to be an engineer. The Owner is a great guy, my son was all smiles after their conversation! The food tasted absolutely delicious, it was all fresh and hot!! The plates were presented amazingly as well. The food had great flavors. We enjoyed shrimp, steak, catfish, Mac n cheese, fries, baked potatoes and fried pickles. The steak was cooked to perfection and the shrimp was good size with a great tasting sauce. The people and atmosphere was so pleasant!Their restrooms were clean and well stocked. My son couldn't have picked a better place to spend his birthday dinner at! Definitely will be recommending this restaurant to everyone!”

“Absolutely fantastic Cajun/Soul food restaurant in Houston!! Delicious food and drink and service par excellence! We had the BEST Brussels sprouts side as an appetizer and then tried several dishes to share. I loved my chicken Alfredo. My wife raved over her salmon. My daughter loved "Da Dirty Rice"! Definitely give this place a try on their Sunday brunch or a special night out with loved ones. I will be back again and again! I definitely want to try the "Yard Bird" next!”

“Got my 6pc wing dinner with chicken fried rice. And my brother got a orange chicken with fried rice. Ove been coming for years to this place cus it's cheap, great taste and alot of rice in your plate. But this time my fried rice felt extra oily and tasted extra oily. The orange chicken was not the best. Great juicy wings 😋 tho and the kool-aid always hits home. The ceilings need to be replaced "moldy" but will continue to give it another try on the rice maybe it was a bad batch”

“Super nice folks running this restaurant. Came in with a large group, and all the tables were taken. The owner asked a couple to move in order for us to fit, and they did. We all placed our orders, but it took a while for all of us to get our food. The owners kept apologizing due to the kitchen staff being inundated. They were really slammed with customers. Once we finally got our food; it was hot and delicious! I had a shrimp po-boy, which was amazing. The rest of the crew said that their food was really good too. I was concerned about how much the mixed drinks costs, cuz that page doesn't have prices...and now I know why. My small drink was $16, guess I should have asked. Lesson learned. We'll definitely be back to try some more of their delicious food!”

“Service was exceptional. The young lady explained the menu and we ended up getting 2 flavors that weren't on the menu. Lemon pepper honey garlic and another i can't remember. She let us know the food would be about 12 minutes which wasn't an issue for me because she was upfront . The wings were a nice size and the chicken egg rolls were amazing. The waffles fries were good too. Will definitely be back when I'm in town.”

“I had a serious craving for chicken livers (because I'm definitely a country girl), so I stopped by while on this side of town. I miss living close to Big Mama's, but it's better that I don't. They'd see my face weekly! The delicious offerings are plentiful (MUCH more than chicken and waffles); you can read the whole menu before driving up (there are 2 drive-thrus), or walk up to the front window. Be prepared to wait, because your food is cooked when you order. (Trust me, you'll be pleased...) Add the jalapeno pepper and pickles to your meal! 😋”

“GRITS🤌🏽🤌🏽, top 3 in dfw. Lamb chops great. Drinks great. Everyone's food came out timely and hot and good! Our server Tai was sweet , quick and friendly. Will definitely go bk for brunch again. Would be 5 stars but the hostess needs some more training and customer service and it was a little chaotic the 1st 15min there.”

“I finally went to see what the hype was about and I can’t say I was impressed. The service/wait time was ridiculous. We wait over an hour to receive our food and once we did the portions were underwhelming. The wings were snack size and the French was small. Everything was good, but not worth an hour plus wait for what you get. I ordered chicken wings, French toast, eggs and 3 mimosas (all 3 drinks were free by the way because of how lengthy the wait was). The atmosphere was nice. Everything was clean and there’s ample space. The DJ was also on point. It’s definitely a brunch spot if that’s what you’re going for. Just prepare to wait, so get a snack before. My check was around $28-30. I don’t think I’ll be back for food, but the ambiance wasn’t bad.”

“Restaurant Claudine Although my evening didn’t go as planned… I am happy that I committed on moving forward as I intended. It was worth it. The team that was there during my visit was excellent, hospitable and attentive. (Kristen,Thank you for your service and Communication) My starter …a beautifully plated Carpenter Eggs which are Deviled Eggs made with white truffle oil and caviar. Main course was a house recommendation… the RABBIT BOLOGNESE pappardelle pasta, bacon, fennel, leeks, Parmesan. Closing with a decadent…Chocolate Pie with a scoop of French vanilla Ice cream 🍨 and of course a classic coffee ☕️ I did have a cocktail that was highly recommended if I love old fashions and it was the Squash-By-Gosh! Butternut squash bourbon,maple, walnut bitters…and yes .. it was worth it. Also the Champagne helped my spirits also good. The ambience of the location is beautiful, clean and memorable. Overall my personal experience turned out to be outstanding.”

“I went there yesterday 6/1/23, After reading some reviews I was nervous. I ordered a 4pc catfish fillet. This is what I got, I was highly upset. I bought this for me and my two kids, these are not fillets , maybe they took two fillets and cut them into strips.For the price and the amount of time I was disappointed. If your serving strips don’t call fillets very misleading. Flavor was good tho but will not return if this is there fillet. My food was hot and fries was fresh and seasoned”
