“It’s a long long wait as with probably all DTF outlets. But the queue system is good and automated. The serving staff have been here for a long time. Very friendly and efficient. Even though I was dining alone, I never felt harried by the staff. The service staff is also very kind and very helpful. When the appetizer that I wanted was sold out, they remembered that I wanted it and came to me when a fresh batch was made. Amazing memory considering that the place was so crowded with patrons. I love their chicken soup, simple and unadulterated chicken stock. So good especially when I was feeling a little under the weather.”

“Under rated place with exceptional food. It’s rare in Singapore to find a place where everything you ordered is above average quality. A second visit place for me for sure. The fried bee hom comes with shrimp soup. The shrimp flavour is there but has a good balance and not overpowering like some places. The big shrimp is already big enough for me. Maybe I’ll try the BIG BIG shrimp next time 😆”

Was expecting lots of umami flavour with their shrimp fried rice but I honestly think the tze char fried rice beats them. “First tried this on 26 December 2023 and ordered medium sliced fish porridge (S$7) [photos 1 to 3] and absolutely loved this! Sliced fish was substantial, fresh and meaty. Soup was wholesome but flavorful and there was dried sole fish too. Was yearning for this and returned the next day 27 December 2023 for lunch where I ordered medium sliced fish bee hoon soup (S$7) [photos 5 & 6]. Interestingly, there wasn’t any dried sole fish. Overall I prefer the sliced fish porridge. Totally understand why there’s always a long queue - because this is indeed delicious, fresh and substantial portion and cheap!”

“We visited this place for 3-4times. And tried different dishes. The restaurant is ran by Korean. It is authentic Korean cuisine. The atmosphere is chill and cozy. Our favorite food is the spicy chicken feet pot and the beef rib soup. The panchan판찬there are also nice and the waiter and waitress are responsive. Just that sometime they get really busy. It would be really lovely to go there for a sip of the hot soup on a rainy and cold morning. Really like this place a lot.”
