“Great service. We came New Year’s Eve and had an enjoyable time. Food came in time all at once for 12 people. My son dropped his chop stick and less then a minute later she came to replace it. The pork chop taste better than other Vietnamese restaurants I’ve been.”

“Maxi noodles is one of the best bang for buck restaurants in queens. Having a great selection of entrees and condiments. It Makes this small restaurant one of the best places to grab a quick bite. Amazing and quick service of all meals. You have to try their dumplings as it is generously packed with greatness. The only improvement I would like to see is another location or expansion of their main space.”

“Not sure what all the great reviews are about this place. Our server, Lance, was the highlight of this restaurant. The food was definitely not of Cantonese cuisine caliber, mostly spicy or tangy or spicy. Lobster was tiny, <1 lb, and heavily coated in starch and dried to a greasy consistency. Unlike any authentic ginger and scallion lobster in a true Chinese restaurant. Fried crab (shrimp) balls looked spectacular, but were lukewarm and greasy. Seafood vermicelli was dry and spicy. Spicy oil chicken was spicy, very, very spicy, barely edible. Sauteed baby mustard greens appeared to be about 8 ounces, but was probably the best tasting dish served. The specialty Beijing duck did not have the skin served separately, but was served scalloped with skin and meat. Not terrible, but definitely not a standout. Portions were embarrassingly small and the appeal appeared to be mostly in the mall setting decor. Lola, the manager, was extremely unaccommodating, i.e./"we have used all the allotted parking validation, sorry pay your own...", "all the tables are reserved" on a Sunday at 5pm? 🤔 Hmmm maybe a free dessert for your inconvenience? Nope, our negligence will be at your expense tonight because we're packed and you're lucky to have a seat at our trendy mall venue. Seems to be the theme of all the "Tangram" eateries. Showy decor, very Disney, just don't come here for the food. Our own fault for having expectations of good food at the mall. If you like super spicy, one-dimensional dishes where you can no longer taste the prime ingredients, you're at the right place. With the high prices of mall lease space and a ton of truly great food oriented options available in Flushing, it would be unlikely that a kitschy Beijing theme and Lola's arrogance alone can survive lackluster food.”

“Another wonderful place to eat and relax in Elmhurst! The pork blood soup was the best I've had since Chiang Mai and the pandan custard bread tasted absolutely amazing. I've been having dreams about it now 555555 They make a nice durian smoothie too. The staff are SUPER friendly and welcoming. This is becoming one of my new favorite places. ขอบคุณมากครับ ❤️🇹🇭”
