“Today was the first time I went to Catfish Campus as I have been craving a good catfish meal. The catfish is outstanding and cooked perfectly! Received a huge meal with 2 sides, abundant delicious hush puppies and a really good green tomato relish. I usually don't eat hush puppies or tomatoes but I was pleasantly surprised at the flavor of both. Very fairly priced for the amount of food received. The service was outstanding and my server was very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant inside could use some updating and not much atmosphere but the food well makes up for it. Will definitely be returning!”

“This stop was one of the highlights of my Nashville trip. Get the chicken and sausage gumbo. You won't regret it. It's packed with flavor and has a little kick that's greatly appreciated, no matter what the weather is. It's in a great location, so the outdoor seating is perfect for people watching while you wait for dinner. We ordered a couple of apps, a chicken and sausage gumbo, and a gumbo flight. I highly recommend the flight to try the different flavors. What a fun idea. I'll be dreaming of these flavors until I return.”

“We have been looking for ribs everywhere and have been disappointed every time. No longer!! Bristol bbq is absolutely delicious fall off the bone ribs just like we wanted. I have never written a review right after eating until now. Highly recommend them. The service was fantastic. They were so very nice and accommodating. “This was our first time here. The staff was friendly and the food was good. We ordered hamburger steaks, Philly cheese steak, open roast beef dinners, salads, and soup. We all enjoyed our meal. We were too full to try dessert. Would definitely eat here again.”

“The Chicken and Gravy oh my was the best I’ve ever had. The mashed potatoes biscuit and pinto beans and fries was amazing too! Green Beans are a steamed kind that I’m not to fond of but they was delicious as well. Southern food if it’s what you are looking for you have to try this place. You won’t be disappointed.”

“Stopped in this lovely little cafe/boutique today to check out what all they offer. Such a cute and quaint small town experience. I ended up buying a meat and three to that consisted of roast beef with carrots, mashed potatoes, green beans and mixed greens. OMG! It was wonderful. And all for only $12! I have a new favorite. Why pay more for unhealthy fast food when you can get home cooked meals for less?”

“First, my meal was enjoyable. I was a little surprised that a place that advertises a country breakfast served country ham with the bone removed and every piece of fat removed from it. So the ham was a bit dry and tasteless. Not what I expected for a country ham breakfast. My eggs and grits, very good. Biscuits and gravy, very good. The service was great, and I tipped well. I will try the tenderloin upon my return❣ Or maybe a different meal and try the chicken♥️”

“The food and atmosphere were good. Our server was nice but the staff seemed cold to us. We sat at the bar and weren’t acknowledged for quite a few minutes and even then it seemed as though they weren’t really happy to be there. It wasn’t until I realized who the owner was and the fact that we were wearing Taylor Swift merch that maybe that was the reason. It may not have had anything to do with it but if not then it wasn’t an interactive or fun environment. I was really excited to try this place. The hot Mac n cheese looks amazing but our timing was off and it wasn’t on the brunch menu. The Monte Cristo and the breakfast potatoes were good as was the crepe and burger and fries. I like the design and the live music was great! I hope I can try the Mac and cheese next time. I’ll just remember to wear a different outfit. lol”

The hot motherclucker had just the right amount of heat for most people but if you don't like the heat go with the regular motherclucker either way you can't go wrong. This may not be on your list when visiting Nashville but it is definitely worth a visit.”

“Great little place to eat. I had a White Cosmo(s)? and a Farmer's Daughter drink. They were both very good, although the Farmer's Daughter drink had an artificial spearmint flavoring that i picked up. Maybe it was my taste buds but it didn't taste like muddled spearmint leaf in the drink. That's why I tried a different drink the second time. At any rate, i did enjoy the drinks. We also had the cheese and sausage platter, the brisket nachos and the shrimp and grits. The shrimp and grits are not your momma's plain S&G. They were fancy with greens and bacon and very large shrimp. It was delicious, everything was delicious and the service was good, too. I was too full to try any desserts 😪There is a place behind the restaurant that has live music on certain nights, some play areas from children, an open bar and other things. Nice little area to hang out for a bit. Also, there is limited parking in front of the restaurant. On Sat, the day we went (around 5:30 or 6 pm), we parked across the street. There is a sign that the manager(?) was putting up at the business across the street when we arrived. We parked there with no issues.”
