We arrived right when they opened. We started with fried pickles and fried jalapenos. They were fried perfectly and not overly greasy. I ordered the ribeye it was cooked pretty close to what I asked,med rare, and came out hot. The coleslaw was really tasty and freshly made. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and found the portions a perfect size. If you are in the area I definitely recommend you stop in, we drove an hour to get here and feel it was worth it.”

“We had lunch with a customer here around noon on 12/20. We were warmly welcomed and immediately seated. The place is very creatively decorated with lots of cartoon art. The staff were kind and helpful. We all ordered the combination platter and chose different sides. I had the mashed potatoes with jalapeño bacon gravy and collard greens. The potatoes were smooth and buttery, and the gravy was outstanding. The collard greens were perfectly cooked and wonderfully seasoned. The chicken tenders and steak strips were both battered expertly with great flavor and cooked to perfection. Both were juicy and fork tender, and a knife was not necessary. I had the Korean and Nashville sauces to complement my meal. Both were delicious, but not necessary since the meat was so delightful without a sauce! Overall, we enjoyed a delicious meal and had a good time. Fair warning though: it was busy and quite loud during our lunch, so if you are hearing impaired and looking for a place to have a nice conversation over your meal, you might find yourself shouting at each other if you choose to eat here.”
