“This stop was one of the highlights of my Nashville trip. Get the chicken and sausage gumbo. You won't regret it. It's packed with flavor and has a little kick that's greatly appreciated, no matter what the weather is. It's in a great location, so the outdoor seating is perfect for people watching while you wait for dinner. We ordered a couple of apps, a chicken and sausage gumbo, and a gumbo flight. I highly recommend the flight to try the different flavors. What a fun idea. I'll be dreaming of these flavors until I return.”

“The food and atmosphere were good. Our server was nice but the staff seemed cold to us. We sat at the bar and weren’t acknowledged for quite a few minutes and even then it seemed as though they weren’t really happy to be there. It wasn’t until I realized who the owner was and the fact that we were wearing Taylor Swift merch that maybe that was the reason. It may not have had anything to do with it but if not then it wasn’t an interactive or fun environment. I was really excited to try this place. The hot Mac n cheese looks amazing but our timing was off and it wasn’t on the brunch menu. The Monte Cristo and the breakfast potatoes were good as was the crepe and burger and fries. I like the design and the live music was great! I hope I can try the Mac and cheese next time. I’ll just remember to wear a different outfit. lol”

“We had a wonderful time, the service was excellent and the food was great at a very reasonable price. The hot motherclucker had just the right amount of heat for most people but if you don't like the heat go with the regular motherclucker either way you can't go wrong. This may not be on your list when visiting Nashville but it is definitely worth a visit.”
