“Pretty restaurant, felt like I was in Paris. I had the French onion soup for starters and the creamed chicken with potatoes! My friend had the soup of the day -Delicious. The Hot chocolate was disappointing and the service was slap dash after we got our main! The waitress was lovely but busy I guess. Highly recommend as the prices were decent!”

“Have been to both branches (Fossgate and Goodramgate) twice, I would definitely recommend going to Fossgate rather than this branch. First time at this branch, the paella was so undercooked. And the second time, the jamon iberico was SOOOO badly cut and the portion of it was so much tinier than the other branch. And the calamari was soggy and not fresh at all.. and so much more…Where’s the quality control? Will never come back to this branch again, it’s very disappointing for a Spanish food lover, no wonder the other branch is always fully booked. Service was ok tho!”

“Local Spanish tapas restaurant with a lively atmosphere and vibe. They have very interesting specialty cocktails, some completely unique, some gives a twist to the classics. Food was the highlight. Rustic dishes, nothing flashy or over the top in presentation, but flavours were excellent. Garlic prawns were our favourite of the night. Meatballs were also delicious, tender and slightly pink in the middle, and perfectly seasoned. Padron Peppers were always good, and refreshingly light. The only slight disappointment was the octopus. Now, it was still very good and delicious, but it was just slightly overcooked.”

“Second time at this place, we came here for dinner. The place is nicely decorated and reminds you of Spain. As we came on a Saturday night, the place was fairly busy and a little bit noisy (but less than other places in the city). The staff was either neutral or nice. The experience could be much better if it wasn't for the food, which is what you crave for when dining out. We ordered seafood paella, croquetas, shrimps, patatas bravas and a vegetable tapas with mushrooms. Everything was decent/ok, the paella had zero taste. I also tried the seafood alone and it actually tasted bad. Maybe it was just a busy night, but they could definitely do a better job.”

Food brings you back to Spain. It's perfect, good amount of portions and totally worthy. They haven't been creative with the food to make it for British people, it's like you will have it in Spain. We really wanted a place that can make it feel special and this place did exactly everything! The food the atmosphere and the service was all brilliant. We ordered nearly everything off the menu all to share and everything we found incredible. She was really happy and so was you ! Would recommend this place to anyone especially for a special event. “Wonderful food and atmosphere. The staff were all excellent and took great care of our larger group. The food was delicious - all of the vegetables were beautifully seasoned and dressed perfectly, but the highlight was the pita and aubergine dip (in the picture). It was such a wonderful surprise, smoky, beautifully spiced and smooth, perfect with the excellent pita. I’d love to come back here again, it’s an excellent spot for any occasion!”

I want to make everything I tried at home, that's how utterly scrumptious the food was. If I could give 10 stars I would! The staff were super attentive and friendly even though it was very busy, which is a wonderful touch. A lovely place, lovely atmosphere, beautiful plates and decorations.
