This cozy South Bank restaurant — clad in clever Delft Blue — makes for a beautifully quaint (but special) night for a date to impress. Both culinarily and visually satisfying, at a price reasonable for what is served. Seasonal coursed meal included: Bread with local goat butter. Radicchio salad with tahini and plums. Sea urchin foam. Pan seared fish. House made pasta in almond cream and grilled grapes. Pan seared veal with rich demi-glace. Dessert. An add-on of local oysters well-worth the splurge.”

“The steaks were great, tasty and tender. I would recommend medium rare (actually mine came out as rare, but that is fine personally). The starters and sides were good as well, and I do regret not getting the sweet potato fries instead as they look really good. The pork ribs looked good as well.”

“Cosy restaurant with a focus on tapas and paella. Tapas as starter were very good; not exquisite. Paella, announced waiting time 30 minutes which was easily filled with tapas, is very good. One can add additionally other food eg chicken or gamba’s but we didn’t and it was absolutely sufficient. A little too overcooked though. Staff is very friendly and very supportive and attentive!”

“Ackwardly asked to wait in a call hallway without getting any attention from the staff maybe was a false start. Waiter with a garlic breath not the best experience. Then we luckily enjoyed very good tapas. There was too little space between the tables sonit felt like a group diner rather than a romantic night. All in all the food lacked the wow-factor. The somewhat pretentious but beautiful restaurant made me expect more. I'd recommend the delicious shrimp croquetas with herb aïoli and I'd skip the boneless Iberico ribs which could have been tender but where fatty and the taste came only from the marinade.”

“Unfortunately they refused us to get in today. Their argument was vague. The guy told us they were full, although all seats were empty and there is still at least an hour for dinner. In my restaurant, this was not done! Shame on you ‘t Zusje! My advice is not to go there unless you do not worry about being treated in an unfriendly manner. I thought customer focus was rule of thumb for the hospitality sector. Anyways, my piece of advice is not to go to ‘t Zusje.”
