“We went there to try a speakeasy bar! The guy who opened the door wasn’t very smiley - not sure if that’s the vibe they are trying to create! Overall had a bit of vibe of a speakeasy but didn’t seem like a proper one - not much secretive or discreet ! The staff serving the drinks were friendly ! Cocktail that I tried was ok Definitely from a location point of view seemed like a popular place!”

“We walked in on a Friday ~5:15pm without a reservation and were happy to score two janky stools by the door. Cool. Dark. Well worn. Really felt like a speakeasy. Someone was late for their shift, so a lone bartendar was working extra quick/hard to serve everyone until help arrived. Our cocktails were excellent!”

“Stopped in for drinks before a show. Very easy walk to most theaters. Place is very nice inside. Decor is tasteful, not flashy. Small bar area and booths. A few tables. Entrance is unmarked. Just walk up the steps and enter. Martini/Manhattan style drinks were served with a carafe on ice and a second small glass. See picture. Cool! We didn’t eat there so can’t comment. Friendly service. Prices are not too high. Usual bar prices, $16-$18 or so for cocktails.”

“Atmosphere 9/10 Super cool and unique - botanical themed - atmosphere. Nice design elements and interior. Drinks 10/10 Drinks were spot on. Special presentation and deliciously mixed. Definitely try the Martini - they have their unique melon “balls” which they put in the cocktail and it looks super nice. Also the “DNA” was delicious with good amount of liquor Service 10/10 Very professional and well dressed staff. Bartenders definitely know what they are doing! Price 6/10 $25 per drink - but well deserved for this experience!”

“When you think of a bar you don't often think you need to access it via a subway entrance. Nevertheless if you go to one bar in NYC go here. Best old fashioned and best expresso martinis we have ever had. The service was 2nd to none. Wonderful atmosphere. Great liquor selection and friendly staff. Can't wait to come back!”
