Was expected to taste extraordinary pizza but the quality of the ingredients turned out to be extraordinarily mundane and not very different from my own kitchen. Indeed the quality was higher than the cheaper pizza places you find in town, but I am really missing genuine bold flavors e g. in the tomato sauce. The pizza was crispy and nice though 😋. Warning: the pizza was HOT, watch out & don't burn your mouth.”

“Excellent place for some Nepalese food. Probably my favourite from the capital area. No brunches over weekends. Lunch time prices are very affordable. Foods include hard snacking bread with a dip, soft naan, rice and yoghurt plus pea/bean sauces usually. Service is good and fairly hasty. However, If you feel ignored try to make eye contact with the staff or get their attention they can be busy during rush hours.”

“Amazing lunch spot, very authentic both in taste and interior design. €13.20 for a full meal of your choice from the daily menu plus drinks (coffee, water and tea) and a plentiful bar salad buffet. We had the Korean superbowl and the Pho with beef and both were super tasty. The salad bar is very complete and the staff makes sure it stays cool enough throughout lunchtime. Eating from the salad bar keeps you busy while you wait for your mains (not a long wait tho! They were super fast). Really liked this place and would recommend a stop here if you’re around Kamppi.”

“Overpriced for what it really is! I ordered tempura set. It came out nicely presented, but some pieces were so oily, and had no flavor. The portion only came with three shrimps, one piece of squid, one piece of eggplant, one super oily kakiage (mixed veggies tempura) and one slice of onion (not my favorite), and I was charged for 20€. Overall it was really underwhelming. My friends ordered the “today special” Gyudon, and trust me, that dish in the picture is not how Gyudon looks and tastes. The beef were really chewy, had bones in it, and the sauce were too salty. Not authentic at all. The most infuriating thing was my friend’s yakitori (no picture unfortunately). Her yakitori dish was two TINY sticks of chicken, sad and dry! In the end we left the restaurant with half-full stomachs. Not recommended!”

“2023: (Bamboo tray photo) Food was great as always. This time the salad table was in better condition than our last visit in 2022 and soup + some drinks were also included. The sauces on the salad table was excellent with the lamb dishes. Biggest con was the drilling work the restaurant was doing while opening times (Monday 9pm-10pm). Also the restaurant have a lot of flies flying around. 5* for the food and service but you don't come here for the atmosphere. 2022: (White plate photo) Have been visiting this place time to time when I'm craving for lamb meat. I guess the place have new owners now since the place looks a little different than previously and the restaurant is now named Samad. The prices and dishes are almost same as before. Good quality for reasonable prices. The salad table is smaller and there is no soup or drinks included anymore. Still better than the restaurants nearby or in Itäkeskus which serves same food.”
