“Today I felt like eating some parfait, so I visited Juneberry Cafe, which is fairly famous (I think) in Toyota City😄. It seems like you can't make a reservation, but you can reserve it. Should I go anyway? So I went anyway. Can we park about 10 cars in the parking lot in front of the store? There seem to be about 4 cars on the opposite side of the road, and another 30m away. Since I came all the way, I ordered a cherry parfait. Chiffon cake and parfait appeared in about 15 minutes. Both look delicious 😋. When I tried the chiffon cake, it was delicious, with the fluffy chiffon, the sweet cream that wasn't too sweet, and the small pieces of fruit on top that didn't make an overpowering statement. The cherries in the cherry parfait are sourced from an orchard in Yamanashi Prefecture, and are firm and delicious with just the right amount of sweetness and sourness. There are pitted cherries inside the parfait, so it feels like they've used all the cherries. Also, sometimes the sweet and sour sauce came out halfway through the meal, and the taste changed and I was able to enjoy it until the end. At first, I thought 2000 yen was expensive, but I wonder if it's worth it at this price? I felt so satisfied. I could have given it 5 stars, but it's still expensive😅. I'm grateful that it costs about 1,500 yen, but I guess it can't be helped because prices are so high. 😅 The parfaits change with the seasons, so I'd like to go again. Thank you for the meal😋🙏”

“I arrived at the restaurant around 5:10pm on Sunday and waited in line for about 40 minutes to get a seat. If you go, you'll have to be prepared to wait in line for more than 30 minutes. The miso cutlet and oden have a lighter red miso flavor than the standard Nagoya flavor. That was delicious. The side dishes of stir-fried menma, kinpira burdock, and chicken wings were very delicious. The flavor was strong, and even though I came here just for the miso cutlet, the side dishes were far more delicious. If you visit, be sure to order the daily side dishes. The atmosphere is nice and the food is delicious, but the wait time and the kushikatsu seem to be a bit expensive, so I'm giving it a lower rating.”

“2024/01 My mother, eldest son, sister, niece, and I had a New Year's drink at my parents' house. Take out the (special) Omabushi (5 to 6 servings, 5 eel balls, 16,790 yen including tax) at Unako. When I went to pick it up after the designated time of 4:30 p.m., the restaurant was already full and seemed to be as popular as ever. Both the general and the landlady seem to be doing well. There is a kinshi tamago between the eel and the rice, and the rice is also covered in sauce. Aromatic dashi soup for hitsumabushi, green onion and wasabi condiments, and mozuku vinegar are also included. The eel kabayaki served by Unasachi, which was also my father's favorite when he was alive, is absolutely delicious.
