I could drink the chimichurri and cilantro aioli. The person who helped us was very polite and patient as I couldn't decide what to order...so we tried a little of everything 😂 Was not disappointed. “Stunning! Beautiful restaurant with great food. A amazing late out to night dinner with friends. Only a few downsides… The food hits well home for me, my family mostly consisting of family members from Vietnam. The best type of food is cooked by family, and this restaurant really felt like family was cooking. The menu offered so many different dishes all amazing thought out. The restaurant itself was stunning inside. Amazing layout and thoughtful. Staff were kind and the waiting area was nice. The outside of the restaurant looks kinda- weird. But it was pretty inside. We found out if you pay with cash YOU CAN GET 5% OFF your total price. Which we didn’t t know but will do next time. The downsides are few to none, the outside is kind of confusing. It’s in a small plaza and doesn’t have a big sign on the front indicating it’s a restaurant. The parking is short-a mess, this lot being shared with many stores, so it might be hard to find a spot at times. Another mini problem is the waiters, our waiter was so kind and nice to us, the bad thing is it was clear they were understaffed or something. Our waiter was in such a rush so we barely saw them. They would come and go so quick and we would never be able to get his attention due to them running around the restaurant. Other than that it was an amazing experience and i DO RECOMMEND for family dinner or a simple friend meetup.”

“Rated best cheesecake in Pennsylvania I had to try it! Easy to get off the main street with a parking lot near it. The bakery is very clean and the staff was friendly! Fresh and still warm chocolate chip cookie was excellent! Soft in the middle and slightly crunchy on the outside. They even had strawberry crunch cookies. My personal preference on cheesecake is actually without the crunchy graham cracker bottom which is the most popular method. I found the bottom a little too sweet. The blueberry compost on top was a little too "gelly" for my liking. Overall I actually enjoyed the cookie more but if you like your cheesecake sweet and with graham cracker base you will like these.”

“While staying downtown for work, I sought an interesting lunch and found Arepittas on Google and when I saw they were a Venezuelan restaurant and the reviews were amazing, I walked here to give them a try. Service was excellent… friendly and helpful! Their menu is quite nice and varied, with empanadas and arepas, as well as many other delicious options. I opted for their Reina Pepiada arepa and a side of yuca, with sides of their avocado green sauce and spicy green sauce. Everything was excellent! The sauces were tasty and the arepa was excellent! Yuca we really good too. Definitely recommend stopping in… Really good eats here!!”

“The atmosphere of this place is very homey. The people are nice but it's a pretty small place, so expect lots of wait time on peak days especially if you have more than 2 people in your party. The Food: Don Cheech's Steak (9.5/10) - This cheese steak is probably the best one in NE Philly. The meat tasted like quality and please get the cooper cheese, the other one ain't it. I recommend asking to get your bread toasted but that's up to you. This is better than Pat's and Genos in the city for sure and I don't care what anyone else says because those places are overrated tourist spots. Truffle Fries (7/10) - These were pretty crispy and seasoned well but it's a bit pricey at 10 bucks so I'm gonna adjust my rating. The Mags (5/10) - Let me be honest and say this pizza is very average and lacks a lot of flavor. Good crust though. Sicilian Wings (2/10) - I'll be honest and say I'm not much of a wings guy so take my review for this one with a grain of salt. I didn't like it, I think this was the weakest out of everything we ordered because it was just salty and lacked any real flavor. My friend really enjoyed it though so your mileage may vary.”

“I regret to say that my recent experience at The Head Nut left much to be desired. The store boasts a wide variety of items, but unfortunately, the poor staff behavior overshadowed any potential positives. Upon entering the store with my husband on Monday, we were met with an atmosphere of rudeness and dismissiveness. Every time I attempted to ask a question, I was met with curt and condescending responses. The staff members seemed more interested in displaying their arrogance than in providing any semblance of professionalism or basic customer service. Furthermore, the store's layout was impractical and cramped. Items were crammed onto shelves, making it difficult to navigate the aisles without bumping into other customers. And speaking of other customers, even when there was no one else around, the staff seemed unwilling to assist, citing the excuse of "helping another customer" as a reason not to engage with me. Frankly, the attitude displayed by the employees was disgraceful. It's disheartening to see a once-friendly establishment deteriorate into a hub of arrogance and indifference. As someone who has been a loyal customer for years, it pains me to say that I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future. In conclusion, while The Head Nut may offer a diverse selection of goods, the abysmal customer service and disrespectful demeanor of the staff make it a place to avoid at all costs. Save your time and money by patronizing establishments that value and respect their customers. P.S. Check expiration dates if you DO shop here., many items on the shelf are expired, so , who knows how long the stuff in the bins has been in there.”
