“The place seems popular with local tourists who want to try something “Indian”. However, if you want authentic tasting Indian food, this place misses the mark by a lot. I tried chicken tikka masala, veggie samosa and naan. Naan was very basic; was not made in a tandoor. It was similar to naan you can buy in a store. The samosas has minimal flavor, the size of the 2 in one order was small. The chicken tikka masala was nothing like I have ever tasted before (I don’t mean it in a positive way). Looked like a yellow sauce. The chicken pieces were extra large, but were tender. Could not find tomatoes or veggies in it. The food was edible and the quality was decent. Service was good. If you want a tame introduction to Indian food then this place is okay. But if you want good authentic Indian food, you may need to look elsewhere.”

“Service was fast and friendly. Unfortunately it was impossible to get a vegetarian pho. So I got bun cha (veggie bobun) instead but it was not extraordinary : overcooked noodles, tasteless sauce, veggie spring rolls without much taste and dry.... Their picon bière was good. I also appreciated the design of the space. The aircon isn't strong enough so count on the fact that you will smell like bobun for two more days. Reply to the owner: I precised to the staff that I knew that the bouillon of the soup was necessarily made of meat because I knew it was always made of bones. I just asked to make the final soup with no meat topping just put the same veggies on top like on buncha or use any other veggies. They told me it was impossible anyway.... I know it is possible anywhere and actually even cheaper for you as the restaurant because honestly veggies are much less expensive than good beef meat.. Just question of the will....I ordered many phos with just veggies on top in Vietnam, Czech Republic, Hungary and France. You are only second restaurant where my wish got refused.. And btw: no veggie pad Thai was offered to me...”

“I went there with my wife, for dinner, we both ordered Cote a l’os Iberic pork à la plancher with a thyme sauce, my wife had hers with risotto, mine with fevres beans, the way it was cooked was amazing, with crackling, for dessert we had crème brûlée (delicious) all washed down with a Bourgoin (Givry) (2019), it was perfect. Service was impeccable. The whole experience for us was an absolute delight. We’d love to go back one day.”

“tl;dr: superb food, but servers sometimes forgot my friend did not speak French. We were in town for a hiking trip, and even though we knew we would wake up early the next day for intense exercise, we had dinner here anyway. One may argue that we are not the cleverest, and one would be right, for we left the restaurant plenty full. I think it's not super uncommon to have a multi-course dinner and not like some stuff. You will of course have favorites, but more often than not there are some dishes you don't care much about. Luckily it wasn't the case for us here, as we thought every dish was quite delectable. Presentations were super creative, and different flavors and textures were present in everything they served. I would especially like to highlight the fish dishes we tried (red mullet and ... lisette? no idea what that is called in English), as well as the cheese selection at the end (if you have room for it, that is). The fig jam made for a perfect complement. Now, we requested service in English because my friend who was with me could not speak French. They seemed to understand initially, but half of the time they would explain the dishes in French anyway 😅 We understand that people forget, but at a place like this you expect more. The experience was otherwise flawless and my friend was still happy with the food, albeit a little frustrated that he could not really understand what he was eating sometimes. I am not sure how often they have non-french-speaking guests, but that might be something to address.”

“Went here at the recommendation of a friend and was not disappointed. The restaurant has an extraordinary ambiance. The staff was exceptionally attentive and warm. Even the chef made rounds and came out to talk with some of the patrons. The food was delicious. The prices were very reasonable and you get a lot for the price. The croustillants (which I cannot rave enough about) were excellent and the “famous” bouchée à la reine was good too. All in all it was a really pleasant experience and I would most definitely go back.”
