“Sadly disappointed with our experience at A Venda. Food was good - nothing to shout about, but satiated our hunger. Humble dishes served on traditional plates. Lovely Portuguese cocktails, too. The servers were friendly and helpful when serving but overall completely inattentive. After sitting with our finished dirty plates at our table not being cleared for 40 minutes we got up and left, despite the staff coming near our table and looking over on multiple occasions. Shame, as we were planning on having a dessert. Inside, the vibe with the staff feels shambolic, chaotic and a bit of a mess. Seems like they need a good manager to keep things running more efficiently. I'd come back if they could sort out their service issues. Pros: simple, tasty, affordable food. Fun music. Nice setting Cons: Poor, inattentive service and not able to take card payments”

I chose octopus carpachio and avocado 🥑 followed by sole with prawns. Dessert, again good choice, concluded with creme brulee and complimentary port. Extensive wine menu too.”

“What a great find!! We had the tapas platter. Simple, delicious and quality packed plate of octopus and tomatoes salad. Dried ham, cheese with fig jam and mint, plus little Melba toasts with honey and almonds. The best of food from Algarve. Staff super friendly and recommended us what to try. Location is superb overlooking a charming Portuguese square. Throughly enjoy the experience. Could sit here with a glass of wine for a day!!”

My impressions nice relaxed and calm, the service was fantastic and friendly, the food was superb, they offer many options but the rodizo was the best. We were a party of 5 and we left feeling fed.
