So intimate, unique each time but with staples that you can count on (get the butterscotch pudding!!!). Amazing staff and extensive drink list. I like to go every season to try the new menu! The pizzas are always fantastic - I love how they update the menu but keep the favorites. Highly highly recommend! Such a special place <3”

I got a greens bowl with a lot of toppings, So I thought it would be like two servings, but I was wrong because I couldn’t stop eating it. It was so fresh and delicious! Also, when I walked in, I made the lady at the front aware that I had never been there before, and she made my experience very welcoming and was super helpful as well. “All of the bread stands are excellent. Lots of good produce, though I’d avoid the stand that doesn’t list its prices. There are a few stands that change every week - sometimes there are artists selling their work, or free blood pressure measurements, or vegan food like kimchi or cupcakes, or Girl Scouts selling cookies! Oftentimes there are lovely street musicians. I highly recommend the empanadas & salteñas from DMV Empanadas - they’re even better warmed up at home, and don’t forget some little sauce cups! I also love the ice cream pints from Broom’s Bloom Dairy. Rain or shine, limited parking, no dogs allowed, credit cards accepted at many stands (but cash is always appreciated).”

“This place is awesome and has a bit of a traditional vibe to it. Sushi bar at the front, sit in tables in between and a bit more private lounges near the entrance. The staff here are incredibly friendly and kind. They truly take care of their customers. That alone shows me this place is well above the average. The Food: Honey Do Roll - This was probably my favorite roll. The sauce is absolutely delicious and everything tasted like quality. Golden Roll - This roll was also very good. Once again there is a hint of quality that's a step above the average Sushi place. Eastern Shore Roll - A unique roll, something I've never had before, wouldn't say it's my favorite but I certainly enjoyed it. Would recommend trying if you were looking to explore something new.”

Ended up trying out their berry pie (the crumbles option had sadly ran out) with a side of Taharka roasted strawberry ice cream. The slice is a generous portion and you have the option of getting whipped cream too. The pie was good and for the price I thought it was reasonable.”

“Oct 2023 We came here for dinner one night and the food was good while the service was so-so. There were about 4 or 5 waitstaff, most of them being young adults. They were friendly, but mostly seemed to hang out at the counter when not getting or delivering orders. We had to wave to get their attention and I had to remind them that I ordered a Thai Tea. Note they charge $0.75 per takeout box. There is a free parking lot both in front of and behind the building with a good amount of spaces available. This place takes up two units, with booths, booth-chairs, and tables that can hold 2-8 people depending on arrangement. The inside is decently lit and clean. There are two bathrooms, one marked unisex and the other marked women. Both are pretty large and handicap accessible (though no automatic doors). The bathrooms were clean and dry. All the food tasted good, though nothing amazing. The summer rolls were VERY sticky and loosely rolled. Note when you choose shrimp for the combo vermicelli noodles, you only get like, 2 pieces of average sized shrimp. They do give a good amount of chicken, pork, and beef though. Overall, ok food and ok service. Would probably not come again.”

“I’m not sure if it’s the time of day or by luck but this location of CAVA did not serve very well. It was a weekday lunch so I assume the staff were very busy but the service felt overly rushed and the portions they scooped were much smaller than previous experiences. The overall bowl was decent and a good medley of flavors with fresh ingredients. The chicken is my go-to protein but the lamb meatballs are good as well. The restaurant itself is very modern and clean with a great dine-in environment if desired.”

“Food: The sushi here is so good. It's some of the best I've had since moving to Baltimore. My favorite (so far) is the R (Roll) Lewis. The unagi and soft shell crab are also wonderful. Service: The server was attentive, never letting our water run out. Our food came out quickly, and the extra roll we ordered before we left arrived fast and packaged well. Atmosphere: We didn't get to see the whole restaurant, as we sat near the entrance. The chair felt a bit uncomfortable. But other than that, the atmosphere was pleasant and inviting.”

“I've been shopping at Snider's for 40 years, and it has changed significantly since Streeters bought it a few years ago. The produce department has improved, although much of it is displayed in the aisles with resulting less room to maneuver, Produce employees are friendly and helpful. There are more selections at the deli, most of which I'm not interested in, but the employees aren't nearly as efficient as before. The location of most of the products was rearranged when the new people took over, and that was very annoying, but things have settled down now. The check-out experience, however, is now a nightmare. Sniders used to employ intelligent adults at the cash registers. Now there are snarky, idiotic teenagers who have no idea how to deliver customer service and don't seem to care. Sniders used to be the only grocery store I patronized. Now I go there much less frequently and always leave in a bad mood.”

“🤷🏾‍♀️ TL;DR: The food is just ok. Seems like it might be a decent eat at the restaurant, but the flavors leave much to be desired. 🪷 Backstory: Vietnamese food is one of my favorite cuisines on Earth. I've eaten a lot of dishes over the years, in Philly, where my high school friends first introduced me to pho, to New York City, Reading, PA, and now Maryland. I've been blessed to dine in the homes of people who immigrated from Saigon to the US in the 80s, and I will cherish those memories forever. Those flavors are imprinted in my mind. That said, I am serious about Vietnamese food and am very familiar with a lot of dishes that rarely see a restaurant menu. Pho and Bun Bo Hue are among my favorites. 👍🏾 Delivery: Tonight my usual pho place wasn't available for delivery, so I gave An Loi a try. I ordered the An Loi Pho with all the fixings (tripe included), and a side of the Spring rolls on DoorDash. An Loi confirmed my order immediately, and my order arrived without incident. Everything was well packaged and lovingly labeled for each diner (my partner and I). Sadly, I didn't really care for any of my dishes. 👎🏾 Pho: The noodles were packaged at the bottom of one of those paper Chinese food containers with the meats piled on top, and were overcooked well before I added them to my broth. The broth was more salty than it was beefy, and did not taste like traditional broth, which takes hours of boiling beef bones with distinct aromatics. The bean sprouts and basil provided were crisp and fresh. I added my own Sriracha since the tiny sauce container was mostly hoisin sauce. 👍🏾 Spring Rolls: As for the spring rolls, they were pretty good. They weren't super crispy, but that's a tall order for delivery. The fish sauce dip tasted pretty good, and like what I would expect. 🙏🏾 The meal wasn't inedible, but it didn't scratch that itch for me. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to get my meal to me.”

Because he, along with his supporting staff, did a phenomenal job taking care of us! The drinks and food were absolutely delicious. They came out quickly, cooked perfectly. The suckulate taste of the meat with the Crispy pork skin send my mouth into complete bless. The only bad thing wrong about this dish is it wasent enough lol if you want the taste the heart and soul of the Philippines then look no farther from this restaurant.
