“I parked at a coin parking lot on the side street of JA Sagami and arrived after 1:00 p.m. There were about 20 people in line, probably because it was a holiday, and it took an hour and a half to get in. Umbrellas are available for rent in front of the store, so you can use them as parasols or rain umbrellas while you wait. I thought the restaurant would be slow since it seemed to be run by a husband and wife, but it seemed like it was quick, taking about 5 minutes from ordering to serving. I ordered chashu egg fried rice (large). Small, medium, and large sizes all cost 780 yen◎ When I dodge the bowl of fried rice, the bean paste filled with chunks of pork and fluffy eggs overflows. The chashu is stewed to a slightly sweet taste, and is soft enough to be loosened by the spoon. The moist fried rice has a strong peppery flavor, and while it's delicious on its own, it's even more delicious when mixed with the bean paste, so you won't get tired of it. Very satisfying in both taste and volume, it's worth lining up for. Also supports various cashless payments.”

“No complaints, thoughtful cooking and customer service. I think it's wonderful. The reason why I gave it a minus 1 star was because I sat in the seat at the far end near the kitchen the other day, but that seat might be a bit useless. I wrote this because I revisited it. The store has become difficult to visit due to the long lines day after day due to the coronavirus pandemic. I visited because the line was a little short. Last time I was a yokozuna, but this time I was a sekiwake. The noodles are chewy and really delicious.”

“Open kitchen plan and you can watch as they make your sushi 🍣 The sushi was very good, larger portions than a Sushiro restaurant but kind of the same setup. The sushi does go around a conveyor belt. The menu is in Japanese but you can write your order down just as easily. Overall, the service was fast and friendly. Free parking available in the attached lot.”

“You cannot enter the store on Saturdays and Sundays without a reservation. January 2, 2024 After watching the Hakone Ekiden, I went to the Odawara Oden main store that I had made a reservation for on December 19th. There were about 10 people lined up in front of the entrance, but unfortunately I found out that I couldn't get in without a reservation, so I went home in tears. I had the same experience a year ago today. The counter seats surrounding the oden pot can get cold in winter, so it's best to bring a stole to protect your hips and knees. There are 6 lunch menus. Popular items are the horse mackerel pressed sushi, the beef tendon bowl, which you can eat half of and make ochazuke with the oden soup, and the pork kakuni chimaki, which are also large chimaki. The horse mackerel pressed sushi I ordered that day was rasuichi ☆ It also comes with Sanuki udon with oden soup, which was warm and delicious. The pressed sushi has shiso leaves in between and is rich in flavor. You can choose 5 of your favorite toppings for oden. The Kanto-style soup stock has an elegant flavor, and the radish is thickly sliced to soak up the flavor. Lastly, all lunch menu items are served with vanilla ice cream and plum sauce. This plum sauce is exquisitely delicious! It's homemade. He gave us plum information for those of us who love plums. Apparently, Odawara's Juro Ume and several other types of plums are sold at Asadorefami near the Odawara Higashi IC on the Odawara Atsugi Road. Horse mackerel namerou is only available on the night menu. I don't often go there at night, so it would be nice if there was one during the day as well.”

“If you are looking for fine dining, try this place. It has a northern european vibe and the food is also delicated. The staff was really helpful when i booked from the foreign country. Also, they will try their best to give you amazing service in the restaurant. Some waitresses are able to speak in english so there will be no problem of communication. Personally recommend the Filet because it is really tender and the sauce is good.”

“Higher end spot for dating types. Food is solid and portion is big, to go with the price. Service is good. Atmosphere is relaxed, higher end. Apparently pudding is worth a trip. I had a coffee and cake for 1300 yen, and then had lunch w a buddy for 4600 yen (we split a dish, bread and another coffee). The view of Marina/sea is nice. Had a an obstructed view of Mt. Fuji.”

“On a Saturday afternoon, I visited the store 10 minutes before it opened and connected with four people waiting for the store to open. There were 7 people waiting when the store opened. Open on time. Even though the seats were empty, we entered the store in groups of two, a few minutes apart, at the staff's signal, and we were able to enter the store 5 minutes after it opened. There were many customers after us, and there were about 12 people waiting by the time we left. I had the dried sardines ramen and the limited edition grilled saury fish ramen. When I handed over my meal ticket, I asked if the noodles would form, but they flatly refused. While I was waiting for my ramen, I got a small plate of Shibazuke on the table, and it was so salty that I wanted rice. As I saw on the internet, the dried sardines ramen looks super cool. The thin noodles are chewy and the soup has a very elegant dried sardine flavor. delicious. The limited-edition grilled sardine ramen has medium-thick noodles with a chewy texture, and the soup is more bitter than the sardine ramen. This is also delicious. If I have a chance to come again, I would like to try the super sardines.”

“Alpen Jiro main store The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, and the rice is served in a rice bowl, which is very stylish. I served the chicken, pork, and beef triple collaboration curry for weekday lunch with a salad. It was very delicious. I arrived at around 11:30 and waited for about 20 minutes before entering the store.”

“Staff were kind to swap breads for queuing customers with Freshly baked bread! Had a Maple Roll - which was hot and wrapped in paper and got moist, but didn’t detract from the great soft bread. Also tried freshly fried curry doughnut which was yummy! Definitely coming back here as a regular again.”

“On the last business day of the year, I was shocked to be seated after waiting about 15 minutes. There is no sense of distance between you and the seat next to you at the corner of the L-shaped counter, and there is no personal space. No, I'm not asking for a bigger seat at the ramen shop's counter, but that's terrible. It's not a space where you can enjoy the taste, and in fact, even if you get paid, you don't want to stay there. When I looked around, my seat was extremely small, and it felt like they had forced an extra seat. I regret buying the replacement ticket in advance, and I feel like leaving the store immediately at a seat like that. You can get an idea of how small the seats are by looking at the distance between you and the person next to you in the photo. To the clerk The green onion seaweed service and the extra soup service when you order extra eggs are the best. That's why you should try eating ramen at the same seat when the restaurant is full. I want you to realize that what you are aiming for is different.”

“A very satisfying meal. Didn't expect much from a tofu buger, but wonderfully light yet delish. Perfect with sauce with wasabi & pepper (ask for one). Only menu is tofu sets with different toppings- cheese, tartare, veggies, raddish etc...and rice with choice of garnish. Be ready with super long queue & slow moving because of limited seat capacity. Only 4 tables and the rest of the seats about 6 are at the bar area. Their tofu burger runs out after late lunch .”

“20230421 - a local Chinese family restaurant, tiny but the foods they serve are fantastic. Also, the employees are all very polite and friendly! What I had today is pork chops fried rices. Pork chops’s batter is curry flavored that is actually not common in Taiwan or China, but I love it. Fried rice tastes also nice, every single piece rice is well fried! Will visit again, definitely!”

“I fell in love with Japanese curry on my first trip to Japan and this was one of the later curry dishes I had in Kamakura. Curry cafe where you get really good curry and good coffee and deserts. There was an English menu I forgot to take a picture of it I noticed it’s not updated on google sorry. This place has very modern and inviting atmosphere. The curry was had a range of spice level you can choose from I went with hot, it was the right amount of heat for me not overwhelming but still hot. Served with a pouched egg on top and a whole bunch of negi. This curry dish hit the spot I didn’t leave a single crumb. They ran a deal as well if you got a desert and drink so I got coffee jelly and a homemade ginger ale. Both were amazing they gave me candied pecans as well 😍. Very easy to get to as well, the curry cafe is right off the main traditional shopping street (komachi dori). The staff were very kind and welcoming.”
