“After following them for a few years, I finally made it out to Driftwood, Texas! I was introduced to their sotol through a private dining experience at Harold's Houston, and ever since then, I fell in love. Their ambiance is great! We had live music while there and were even able to visit their store and bought a few treasures. Their service was incredible. We were a party of 6: 3 gals and 3 doggos. Yes, they are pet friendly! Next time, I will definitely look into one of their tours. I can't wait to go back and try more items on their menu!”

“We have been here multiple times and it never disappoints. BEST ice cream in town. My favorite is strawberry cheesecake & banana pudding. YUM! There isn’t seating inside, but there’s a fun spot out front for the kids to run around and play. Great ending to an evening or when you get the craving for some good ice cream.”

“I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the private tour at the Texas Hill Country Olive Company, and it was an absolute revelation. From start to finish, this tour was an immersive journey into the world of olive oil production and appreciation that left me utterly impressed. The tour began with a warm welcome from our knowledgeable guide, who expertly led us through the entire process of bottling their exquisite olive oil. It was fascinating to witness the meticulous care and dedication that goes into every bottle, from the grove to the final product. I gained a newfound appreciation for the art and science of olive oil production. But what truly set this tour apart was the exceptional educational component. Our guide delved deep into the history, cultivation, and health benefits of olive oil. I left with a wealth of knowledge, feeling like an olive oil connoisseur. The tastings were a highlight, allowing us to savor a range of their exceptional olive oils, each with its unique flavor profile. Paired with their personal label wines, the experience was simply divine. It was a sensory journey that left my taste buds dancing with delight. The extensive line of items in their store was a delightful surprise. From gourmet olive oils and balsamic vinegars to artisanal products and beautifully crafted olive wood utensils, there was something for every palate and preference. The opportunity to purchase these treasures made it the perfect outing for any food enthusiast. The private tour at the Texas Hill Country Olive Company is an absolute gem. It seamlessly blends education, culinary delight, and retail therapy in a beautiful setting. Whether you're a foodie, a wine lover, or simply curious about olive oil, this experience is a must. I left with a deep appreciation for olive oil, a full shopping bag, and a heart full of gratitude for this unforgettable journey into the world of olive oil.”

“Just 🤩 WOW! This place has an amazing history, as it sits atop the first dam built to power the city of San Marcos! They have a huge patio. Where you can go an overlook the actual dam and hear the sound of the rushing waters! It is a nice screened - in patio where you can dine if you choose to! (There are heaters on during colder Temperatures). Our table for two was overlooking the rushing water so it was very therapeutic just being there, looking at the water, sipping my coffee and chatting with my partner. We ordered the Pumpkin Spice French toast platter with 2 eggs and bacon 🥓 & the a biscuits and gravy platter with eggs, sausage and I added bacon as well! Overall the food was pretty good, the biscuits and gravy were kind of disappointing as I thought they’d taste more homemade. Still a good plate but I wish I would’ve ordered pancakes instead. My partner LOVED his pumpkin spice French toast & didn’t leave one speck of food on his plate lol! So, definitely go! Whether alone, small group or big groups, they can accommodate all. Kid- friendly as well as handicapped friendly with a nice ramp from the parking lot to the front door!”

“Delicious eats! Ordered an appetizer to share and two entrees. Rollin Bowl menu offers Pho, Vietnamese, Sushi, Thai and Chinese. We ordered Chinese - Chicken with vegetables and Chicken with noodles (instead of rice). Both were generous servings especially for the dinner price. I have food allergies. They took care to give me what I can eat and offer substitutes even though they were busy. Friendly, caring service, wide variety of tasty food choices, generous servings. They pull off all the choices well!”
