There were no complaints. All the sandwiches were perfect. The carrot cake was probably the best I have ever tried. Chock full of walnuts and carrots. Also EXTREMELY accommodating in terms of both vegan food for me but also vegan/gluten free/soy free food for my dear who has really bad gluten and soy allergies. Also really great to eat somewhere and not be one of the few non-white people there. It felt like a really great safe place. When I was there, there was a cute queer couple in the corner holding hands, a youngish group with a small child in a high chair, and various groups of friends speaking in English and other languages. Everyone seemed super relaxed. Sadly not everywhere in Boston feels as accommodating and inclusive as this place. This is now one of my top picks in the Boston area.”

“We had one of the new menu items spicy pork bone at the recommendation of the waiter as well as the dumpling and wonton dishes. I really enjoyed the flavors but may have been a little too spicy for me even with 1 pepper level. It was well seasoned. Unfortunately it took a while for one of the servers to come by to take the order but very pleasant gentleman who provided good recommendations for us. I definitely would love to come try out other dishes here. I highly recommend the dumplings!”

“After the epic failure of a meal earlier in the day, I had to find something to remedy the taste buds. As I began to drive back towards Boston, I searched for possible options along the way that were recommended restaurant stops for their food quality. This Colombian restaurant popped up on the list and immediately beckoned a slight detour to visit. As New England states are so tiny compared to the West Coast, it wasn’t long before I exited the freeway and parked along the street outside Panela. While the restaurant had a large space (noticed later there was a dance floor) and an almost equally large bar area, there were only a couple patrons that day - nursing their beers and quietly chatting. Service was fast and prompt and menus were on the table before I even sat down. Water showed up shortly before I was given a little more time to peruse the menu. It was an interesting menu and well thought out. I had no idea what to order so I just followed my gut on what I felt like gorging on (and was glad I did). I won’t go much into dissecting each dish. But I can tell you that the flavors were balanced and pleasant. Each bite beckoned more until the plate was empty. I couldn’t stop myself. I had to keep going on everything disappeared from the table. It’s one of those times that you’re not claiming a dish to be perfect in whatever culinary pedigree BUT that it’s so balanced in flavor that your palate is tickled in all forms. It was a tongue-gasmic moment and immediately remedied the most boring meal on earth that I just had earlier today. PS. Researched the background of the restaurant later on. Now everything makes sense. I applaud your need to create and represent. Cheers.”

“This low key Thai restaurant tucked away in a strip mall off Rt128 on Winter Street in Waltham is a gem. The room is bright and comfortable, the food is fresh and beautifully presented, and service is friendly and professional. With friends we had great food and a pleasant evening. Beer was served good and cold with a frosted glass. A simple glass of wine was properly cool as well. We didn't do appetizers, but ordered a Beef Salad, quite delicious with super fresh greens and herbs, grilled steak. A grilled salmon dish was well dressed with mango, and pad thai was hot and good. There's plenty of parking, and handicapped accessibility. Children would like the food. The restaurant is sparkling clean and fresh, and so were the servers. A nice atmosphere in an unfussy way.”

“Came in on a Sunday evening and the restaurant was pretty packed. We didn't have reservations but luckily there were 2 bar seats available. Despite an event going on, on the other side of the bar, our server/ bartender was still very attentive. We ordered the Diavolo pizza to share and chicken parm pasta. We didn't say we were sharing the pasta, but they automatically plated 2 plates for us assuming we were sharing, which we were. Not many places would do that automatically. We appreciated this! Both orders were delicious. You can taste the grill / char on the pizza. Will be back to try their other pizzas and pastas”
