“We visited early on a Saturday morning, so the atmosphere was, understandably, a little flat. However, the vegan full English breakfast was gorgeous! It even came with vegan black pudding, which was a 1st for us. Strangely, the toast came way before the meal and was cold, but that was it for any negatives. The space is set out with more formal eating tables but around the edges are sofas for more relaxed just drinks areas. To find the entrance is a little challenging as it is hidden from the main street. You also need to climb some stairs to get to it. But it is very much worth it.”

We went for a late afternoon Sunday dinner I had black pudding starter which consisted of two thick slices cooked in a thin and crispy batter served with salad this was followed by a pork and Turkey roast this was plentiful, hot and tasty. The Staff were very helpful, polite and friendly nothing was too much trouble for them. My partner had an issue with her meal which was dealt with swiftly and efficiently.”
