I would recommend that you bring your own oyster knife and lemon (so you don’t have to buy them there)! I asked them to show me how to chuck on a hater and they were very willing to do so :) Kumamoto: The best. The oyster is slightly sweet and pairs well with its natural salty brine. Don’t use any additional sauce or lemon on this— it’s a waste of an oyster if you do. Honestly, if I came back, I would just eat these. Golden nugget: Pretty flavorless oyster, so it really tastes like the ocean (in the best way possible). Probably would not get again if I can here.”

And an incredible bargain. The receipt pictured is for a pepperoni pizza big enough for two, a huge salad to share, a (bakers) half dozen oysters, two generous pints of IPA. Service is fantastic.”

“I don’t recommend ordering the chicken katsu. It is a small portion for the price. I spoke with the manager who was clear that this was the serving size and was friendly. I would expect more for the price and was surprised. Will not order from here again. We do enjoy eating their ramen though. One recommendation would be to charge more and provide more chicken.”

“I really liked this place, their food was really good, portions were generous. Our server was really nice and friendly, we arrived really early on Sunday so we didn't have to wait to be seated. Their chicken pesto crepe was really good and my friend loved their Benedict eggs. My boyfriend liked the country fried steak but the gravy was a little bit on the runny side. I loved their tea (which was from the Peet's coffee next door so I bought some there) and they are aware when coffee was running low so they will offer more.”

“Friday Korean Short ribs BBQ Special was delicious and a great deal! Restaurants are pretty emptied out by 1:30 pm and specials often sold out before 1 pm. They even offered us a platter of homemade kimchi because one of our party is from Korea. Chicken teriyaki is very good too (super popular among regular patrons). I have tried Korean Stone-bowl Bibimbap on Tuesday (Special on Tuesdays only). Foodles is the only place in Marin doing authentic Korean food that I could think of. Only available for lunch special on weekdays. There is empty cups and water pitchers in the beverage refrigerator where you could serve your own water. It’s simply not a full service sit down restaurant even though once you order at the counter, one of the kitchen staff bring the food to your table. Some menu might be available for catering on weekdays (& weekends). Very busy for breakfast time with near by local patrons.”
