The food was flavorful, but the little space felt too packed. Sambal was too spicy. The price is affordable. Excellent location close to Town Hall. I will most definitely return to try more dishes.”

It was our first time, and we opted for their set menu at $75/pp. The Croqueta and Charcoal Grilled Chicken were group favourites, but the standout was the dessert, "Balcon Mess," which we all loved. However, we found the portion a bit too small to share comfortably among four people, especially for a set menu where we anticipated individual servings for the dessert. Although we didn't catch the name of our main server, he was outstanding – friendly, adept at his job, and easy to talk to with a welcoming attitude. The romantic atmosphere, accentuated by fairy lights, added to the night's charm. Our seating in The Boardroom dining area provided a cozy setting.”

Despite the 38 degree weather, we loved the experience We ordered: ~ M7 Striploin Dressed Barbie (Upgraded) ~ Mini Seafood Platter ~ Hand Shaved Noodles ~ Fresh Tofu ~ Wild Black Fungus ~ Beef Tendon Ball ~ Water Spinach ~ rockmelon as dessert It is now one of my favourite hotpot restaurants. “More Singapore style cuisine. Food lacked spice especially the sambal. Year of the rat decorations are still up (2020). The windowsill is dusty and could be cleaned better. The service was good the food came quickly. Hainan chicken was the star of the lunch. It was boneless, had a generous serving of sauce and was not dry at all! The teh tarik was a bit disappointing it was too milky and did not have the tea flavour I was craving. The belachan was very delicate and light. Lo see fun is not very common in restaurants so I was keen to try it, it was good although a bit one note if I was eating it by itself. Roti canai was delicate and crispy and the curry was thick and strong, a perfect pairing. Would revisit to try other dishes.”
