Great cocktail selection. The Thai tea tini was really good! To eat I had the crispy pork belly. Suji was helping us out for the night and he made us feel very welcome and answered any questions we had. I would definitely return to try other things on the menu.”

“For the price this is one of the best sushi restaurants in all of Atlanta. The atmosphere is great, the drinks are well thought out, and the food is really well prepared and of high quality. One of the things that sets Fudo apart is the uniqueness of their sushi rolls. Be forewarned, these are not for everyone. As an example, I had the Wonder Woman 1984 which was the sushi roll with hard Italian cheese sprinkled on top. This is a very unique experience to say the least for anyone who consumes a lot of raw fish products. I enjoy the uniqueness even though some of the roles there may not be the most perfectly balanced. This will certainly be one of my most frequently visited sushi restaurants in atlanta.”

It was absolutely amazing 🤤 Cleaned the plate clean 😅 it was delicious, it was light but filling, the flavor was phenomenal, and all the toppings were perfect I didn’t feel like it was missing anything Staff was great too, I have a women take my order and she had a great personality, the gentleman who took my payment was also helpful, I was still looking around since it was my first time and answered me. Everyone was nice and personable I didn’t feel any negativity coming from anyone. Very sweet people Definitely recommend and looking forward to trying something else on the menu Update 12/12/23 I’ve been coming here regularly but finally remembered to take a picture before devouring my food. As always food is full of flavor and the different toppings just adds to my bowl 🤌🏻 When I was checking out, the cashier in front of me asked if I wanted a drink or cookie and when I was looking over I saw they had a new one. I asked if they were good and he said he personally likes them. Sold me. And he was right, it was good, it has that nutty taste to it but the apple part of it gave it a great balance of sweetness. “I really enjoyed our experience here-- the food was delicious and I think everything was reasonably priced for what we got. They brought out some fresh pickles as an appetizer complimentary (delicious!!) Their hot and sour soup was awesome, and we also tried: 3 cups chicken (we got two orders but could have just done one), Eggplant in garlic sauce with pork, String beans with pork, Hakka stir fry (very good!), and Lo mein with chicken. We also tried one of their hot teas! I think it was chrysanthemum tea, and they brought out rock sugar to go with it (which was awesome!) My mom doesn't care for Chinese food, so she wasn't wild about these dishes. I believe this restaurant is technically Taiwanese, but their food is still essentially Chinese vibes. The rest of us loved all of the dishes and we barely had leftovers!”

“Solid hot pot. We got the spicy/mild broth half and half. Spice was pretty reasonable (not too hot), but probably would go with regular broth next time. Food was great and cooked up well, would recommend ordering less first and then add more later so you don't over do it. They were very responsive on drinks and even brought silverware for our friend who isn't confident with chopsticks. Will be back.”

“This place isn't close, but it was worth the 1 hour drive! I ordered the tempura combo, gyu don and the saba shioyaki and sashimi combo. Everything was excellent! The staff was friendly as soon as I walked in, and although I had to drive over 1 hour back, the food was still warm when I opened it. Everything had great flavor and it blew my taste buds away. The tempura became soggy, but the flavor of it with the sauce was good! The gyu don was super tender and tasted great on its on and with the rice. It packed a ton a flavor and made a hearty meal. The sashimi was super fresh and tasted great with the wasabi, and the shioyaki was super tender and had excellent flavor. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to try something new or wants to expand their palate with great flavors. It also has a store stockef with products straight from Japan so before or after you eat, you can also buy things to take home. I will definitely be coming here again!”

“These eponymous stone bowls are so hot that the sizzle that comes from one of these stone bowls are conversation-halting, much in the way that necks crane for a passing fajita platter. Every single one of us at the table ordered a bibimbap - a mixed rice dish with veg, a protein, and spicy red pepper paste - in one of these bowls, with nary a complaint upon eating. One of the best parts of ordering bibimbap in a stone bowl is the char that forms in the rice layer most proximate to the hot bottom and sides, which adds the most incredible texture to the dish. Personally, I measure a restaurant's bibimbap by how much of that rice becomes well-crisped, and by those standards, Stone Bowl House won the game of all the Korean bibimbaps I've had to date in the Atlanta area. The banchan, or free side dishes, are decent. I didn't find any standouts bites, but they tasted fresh and acted as faithful sidekicks to the meal. Along with the standard plates of kimchi and spicy fermented radish cubes, there were sesame oiled bean sprouts, pickled shishito peppers, marinated fish cakes, wood ear mushrooms, and their slightly sweeter version of cole slaw. It's notable that the restaurant offers up to five free refills before an added charge (which is far more generous than other Korean restaurants in the area that shall not be named). With our meals, we also enjoyed a small miso soup that helped to cool down our mouths after the fiery mouthfuls of bibimbap. If there were any disappointments, it was the haemul pajeon, or the seafood pancake. It was slim on the namesake seafood and a little thicker and breadier than I usually prefer. I love the way other Korean restaurants serve theirs on a sizzling platter, but these were delivered on a regular plate and therefore were quick to cool and lose some of their initial luster. Our party of four was seated in one of the semi-private side spaces, where we felt tucked away from the crowd but received just as attentive service as any of the other tabled customers.”

I ordered a small General tso chicken and the breading on the chicken tasted old as if they fried a bunch yesterday refrigerated it and refried it with sauce today. Terrible tasting!!! The chicken wasn’t even tossed in the sauce. Check out my picture. Also they have a low B rating. Im pretty sure based on the stale chicken their next score might be a C rating. That chicken was definitely old. I also ordered house fried rice and it was meh!!!! Don’t do it!! Maybe the locals around don’t know good Chinese food so they rate it good or maybe depending on the day and time they cook fresh fried food.”

“I've picked up orders from this location twice. The service is excellent, and despite the fact that they are frequently busy and the restaurant becomes heated, they are as patient and friendly as possible in my experience. My first visit was on a Monday early afternoon, when it was rather busy, but my food was ready and still fresh. The other was another Monday, but it was late in the afternoon and not as busy. I had the oxtail sandwich both times, which is made of coco bread, a beef patty, mac and cheese, and oxtail. This sandwich must be eaten immediately because waiting causes the flavor of the sandwich to not combine as well as the structure of the sandwich to be compromised. The sandwich itself is not worth the price it is sold for in my opinion, as I know a location that offers the exact same sandwich for half the price. However, it is savory because the softness of the coco bread, the flaky crust of the patty, the mix of well-seasoned both beef and oxtail, and the cheesy and thick mac & cheese all give a unique impression.”

“If you're looking for authentic Ethiopian food then this is the spot. It helps to go with someone that knows how to order or is possibly Ethiopian but normal everyday people can figure the menu out for sure. Also they have helpful staff. The outside of the building is a little sketchy but sometimes those are some of the best places. The inside looks like a little village and had a cool vibe. The food was served in a unique way and the seating was nice and private. We would like to explore the menu more on a return visit. I would also mention that the pricing was very good for the amount of food that you get.”
