“I'll leave the original review I wrote below to show how good this place can be. But we came here tonight on a Tuesday and the food was just extremely average. The tofu entre was very sour compared to last time. The pork kailan was a weird experience. The outside was tender and tasty, but the middle of the pork was dry, tough and very cold. leads me to believe it is not made fresh. The consistency is clearly off so I guess it's probably best to come not on a weekday. Maybe don't bother Monday to Thursday as it's quite clear they are rushing to get out. It's not a cheap place so I would expect a lot better. One of the staff were mopping our table around our feet at 8pm. Just not a great experience at all, especially mop water at your feet trying to eat dry pork. In their defence they gave us 10% off and offered to recook the pork but we just wanted to get out of there. The food here blew my mind, the kailan crispy pork was just on another level. The flavours are all there and the pork is just cooked to perfection. I've had it twice to make sure. The coconut rice is the show stealer, it's sweet and sticky but compliments every dish so well. The kailan mixed in with the rice is one hell of a flavour explosion. I would almost go as far as to say it's the best Thai I've ever had. I had to invite a few friends to try it out, and they said the same. The best since Thailand. The staff are also very friendly and so efficient. It's quite busy most of the time and it's clear why. I would definitely recommend booking a table before going. Don't miss this one and definitely eat in over take out, eat this as fresh as they cook it and you won't be disappointed. An amazing restaurant with amazing food. Don't miss the coconut rice, it's the best around.”

“Hoo boy, where do I start? We visited in Nov, and unfortunately, this is the worst hotpot OR buffet restaurant that I've been to in Australia, and a definite low point of our GC vacation. The long and short of it is that the service is bad, the food is worse, and even the limited options available start disappearing over an hour before closing. Feel like having charcoal grilled skewers? Half of the reviews are outdated - this place no longer serves skewers, it has been replaced with "BBQ", but the BBQ is a hot plate with no charcoal, at $43 p/p. That wouldn't necessarily be a problem, except for the fact that literally every single meat option is marinated. If you don't like sweet marinated meat on your barbie, you're out of luck. This, again, wouldn't be such a huge problem if the hotpot was half-decent, but... you guessed it. The few frozen hotpot meats tucked away in a corner were tough and flavourless, and there is a very minimal variety of hotpot ingredients in general - you would get a significantly better selection at any budget malatang restaurant for less than half the price. The 2 hotpot flavours that we tried were incredibly bland. To add insult to injury, the 4 or so desserts available taste like stale Woollies leftovers, the "hot" meals were nearly room temperature, and some of them were removed at 8.15pm, over an hour before closing time. This included the fried rice, which was, incidentally, one of the THREE carb options available in the entire restaurant. Partner got fried rice immediately after he was seated, said there was plenty left, I went for it a few minutes afterwards and it was gone. Asked the lady in charge if they could replenish it, she shrugs and says "we don't have this". Oh, and the "cold" drinks are all room temperature, too, unless you feel like having fluorescent-colored Fanta slushies. Enjoy. We left hungry and dissatisfied, as the food was just so unappetizing. An absolute rip-off for $43pp - you could get a better, more satisfying meal for that price (or less) at almost every hotpot or KBBQ restaurant in the Brisbane area. The staff could clearly see that we were not happy and didn't care. Had to ask twice for spoons to be replaced in the empty spoon tray (because we were not given spoons), and again the shrug and utter lackadaisical attitude. The young lady cleaning the floor near closing time was nice, I guess, but you won't be interacting much with her. Was part of it because we arrived "near closing time", as in 75 whole minutes before closing? Yes, perhaps, and they made us very (very, very) aware of this fact, with the middle-aged man at the counter basically standing right in our faces as we looked at the menu at our tables on arrival. However, the 8.15pm booking slot is actually available on their website (so it wasn't a case of "entitled travelers show up after kitchen closes asking for meals"), and some of the issues are unlikely to be better at any other time. At any rate, I certainly wouldn't spend $86 testing the hypothesis.”

Service is also fantastic and they always manage to squeeze us in even at last minute notice when they are busy. A great husband and wife team that provide an awesome atmosphere together with their staff. My son’s favourite trick is to add burata to his favourite pizza. Highly recommend if you’re after a great pizza.”
