“The food is amazing have already been here once and am planning on coming back to try something else on the menu. There is a good price range and good range of food and it all has a great flavor. The chilaquiles are some of the best I’ve had. The chicken and waffles was good as well. The portions are a good size. it’s great for a nice brunch, date, or girls night out. The servers are attentive as well. I think since the room is small and open the volume can get a bit loud but i should try eating outside next time.”

“First time here. Nutty buddy bar is a must try. The chocolate holds up to the cone does not melt easily, it was so good definitely recommend it and would get again. Pistachio ice cream was full of flavor. Good serving size for the one scoop makes it worth it.”

“If it's your first time? Here's my review. Janie's Cafe Food is delicious, fresh & hot. I rated a 3 🌟 🌟 🌟 for these reasons. Place is old needs to be updated has dirty stained floors, ceiling panels stained, lights work some don't gives you dim lighting. Old Tables need to be replaced, tables got cardboard paper to level legs at the bottom. The atmosphere is medium you'll also get vendors coming in & out selling items as well as mariachi's singing for tips. I went around 9am for breakfast paid $12 with some change for a breakfast plate including drink also food takes at least 30mins for arrival so be prepared. Waiters don't check up much on there guests so be ready to call out. It really is a Cafe mainly get a lot of elderly people which is fine with me I'm here to enjoy a good meal. Now what disgusted me the most was the restroom. I've never been in a old school bar restroom but I can imagine it be like Janie's Cafes restroom. When I went to wash my hands before eating I than lost my appetite so I couldn't eat right after "thinking" but oh well. The sink wobbles, no toilet paper just rolls stacked on top of each other. The tolite has no cover, worn out & looked out of a Action Movie. Mold.. lots of mold under the urinal drain pipe. Trash cans seen better days. A/C filter blacker than the black crayola crayon. Mirror reminded me of a horror film. So please if you decide to go it's great food but they need a huge update. I'd figure with all that traffic they'd invest a bit. “Delicious Mexican style snacks, unique Mexican/ Latin American flavors - Mango soft serve, Chamoy soft serve, Cucumber/Lime soft serve - one time I had a strawberry ice cream from the back that tasted diluted like water - but I told the server and they replaced it with a Mango from the front and it was delicious. If you get something you don't like or tastes off, they will make it right. Highly recommend it - fair prices considering the quantities and the uniqueness.”

“Bought different gorditas here to give them a try and there wasn't really anything exceptional, the filling were just okay in general, the barbacoa was good, both the picadillo and asado de puerco were just okay. The taste of the gorditas is really good, I just think they are a little to thick. The place doesn't look very clean or welcoming. Overall I don't see myself returning to buy their food, perhaps to buy their flour tortillas although I didn't try them, they do look very well made.”

“My first time here. It's not typically my "go to" place for breakfast/brunch. I went here with a group of colleagues for brunch. The place was very clean. The prices in the menu were somewhat steep for it being a simple brunch. However, it was very fresh tasting. All the ingredients used for my meal: nopales, black beans, and veggies tasted very fresh. I was very satisfied with my healthier version of the typical omelette. Their coffee was also flavorful, not weak or bland, (I drink my coffee black). The server tended to our needs in an expeditious and friendly manner, considering we were a large party. All in all, Great Healthy Brunch!”
