“One of the best places to get ice cream in town! They have a huge selection of homemade ice cream. I absolutely love the homemade vanilla. They also have sundaes and banana splits. Don’t forget to grab some food while you’re there too. Service is exceptional. Outdoor seating in the summer is probably my favorite thing about this place. “I haven't been to the 21st and Woodlawn location in many, many years. The last time I was there it was a dark, unappealing place. I dislike very much eating in dark and dismal places; particularly, if it's dingy during the day. However, I tagged along on a birthday dinner on Dec 27th (their favorite place) and was pleasantly, pleasantly surprised by the cheery and comfortable environment. The decor was tasteful and the holiday decorations fun. I couldn't remember my years-ago impression of the food because the atmosphere overshadowed my meals then. But I certainly remember my delicious food this time as well as my experience. My mom happens to like Felipe's as well. I think I'll ask her if she wants to go this evening. She'll be shocked. I've been declining for over a decade.”

“My mom and I stopped there for what we call "Linner", it's a late lunch or an early dinner. I had a cup of their beef vegetable soup, my mom had a bowl of tomato soup, and we shared the beef hummus shawarma with a side of fresh veggies. Everything tasted fine although I could have used more seasoning for my food. The service was impeccable! The young lady hostess/server was friendly greeting us when we walked in and continued with her cheerful attitude throughout our stay and extended her friendliness and cheerfulness to every customer that walked in the door. The atmosphere is pleasant and I would definitely recommend a brunch with loved ones or get together with friends. They even serve a complimentary piece of tiramisu at the end of the meal as a nice little surprise!!!”

“This was my first time visiting the store upon a suggestion from a coworker. I was really impressed by the quality and the value of these cakes. This is probably the best place in town for Bundt cakes! They have so many variations of these cakes plus many other unique decorations, themes and even coffee cups and greeting cards. The staff was very friendly and provided a great customer service. It only took me just under 15 minutes to get a dozen of these delicious bundtini cakes specially created for an event at work.”
