“I heard about this place having the best Cuban food in the Tampa area so I gave it a go. I can see why this place is beloved by the residents of Ybor, very small and tucked away with a diverse menu. Bring your readers though because the font on the menu is no bigger than 12 pt. I don’t think I enjoy Cuban sandwiches after my experience here. The pulled pork on the Cuban was very dry and made it hard to eat. I asked for extra mustard which definitely helped, there should have been more pickles for my taste. The maduros were some of the best I’ve had, very sweet and juicy. There was plenty of seating on a Saturday and the staff was very attentive and accommodating. The meal I had was less than $20 so for that value it gets 4 stars. In reality it’s more of a 3.5 IMO.”

“Easily our favorite sushi spot in Tampa. Take this with a grain of salt I'm not an expert on Japanese culture: but izakaya roughly translates to "stay-drink-place" so think pub. Great atmosphere, usually crowded (for good reason), and great drinks/food. This is great spot to bring out of town friends or family who like Japanese, post work snacks and drinks, or a first (or in my case like 35th) date. Happy hour is from 5 to 7 Monday - Saturday. They've got drinks and apps on there. Haven't had anything here we don't like. Sushi is 9/10, sashimi is great, the miso soup is some of the best imo, all their hot dishes like the ramen and katsu are awesome. Hard to beat a Kirin draft, a hot sake, and a sushi roll or 4 after a long work week. The only downfall: this place is no longer a secret and they do get BUSY, expect a wait most evenings/nights, but service is very solid and they do their best to accommodate without rushing anyone. It is worth the wait.”

“I moved to Ruskin about 8 years ago and I finally visited Apollo Meats for the first time today. I was very happy with what I saw. Coming here brought back memories of shopping at the local Hornung Meats with my grandmother back in the 1980s. The service was fast and friendly. The prices were lower than most of the grocery stores around and the lunch meat was just perfect (turkey pastrami and Amish of the bone ham). They have everything you want or need concerning meat. They also have kabobs and cinnamon rolls. Oh...and they have some local produce as well. I can't wait to try the mountain kielbasa I bought. I will definitely be back.”

“Nice little sports bar type vibe with good cocktails and games, can’t beat it. Wings went crazy. We got the pooty-tang wings and they were so good we had to get a whole second order and we weren’t even hungry. We came for bingo night and it was a lot of fun. You can tell they have a strong group of locals and regulars who frequent the spot, which made it feel very welcoming. The only negative I can speak on is that the French onion dip was disappointing, and that it took awhile to get service but that was just because they are busy, so not really an issue. All in all, I can see this becoming a regular spot.”

“Excellent restaurant to go to whether you're vegan/vegetarian or not. The food is just very good, hot and fresh, you can't go wrong. The menu will have something for everyone. The location might be a tad off the beaten path, but it's worth it. The inside is very welcoming and comfortable to enjoy your meal. The staff is super friendly and very helpful if you have any questions about the menu. We have to come back on Thursday to try their po-boy sandwich. They have different daily specials that you can try out. Their cheese-steak sandwich with fresh made chips and/or fries is delicious, meat eaters will be happily surprised. The Mac N Cheese they make is super creamy and full of flavor, a guilty pleasure for sure, just remember to share. We thought we'd have plenty to take home, but as it turns out the bowl was empty the last time we looked. So if you're looking for fresh, hot, sorta healthier food, smoothies, etc., please give Vine Vegan a go, it'll be a favorite for sure.”

“Have really reasonable prices on the meat products. Not bad quality either. Canned and boxed foods are close to Walmart prices and generic brands. But i must say their mac & cheese premium is so creamy and cheesy and is well worth $1.99. Some of their other things are over priced so shop smart. I usually go to SAVE ALOT first and get what i can and then Walmart or another store for what i couldn't find here. Hope this helps somebody. If nothing else get your meats here. Chicken breast is comparable to most other stores. Beef and pork are considerably lower.”

“Not a retail location per se. It is a factory that sells a very limited offering from their office entrance. You can however get any item you want from their selection if you call 2 days ahead. My very first visit and my Apple Crisp pie was amazing. The pie and slices are huge. They ship all over the US and their pies can be frozen. Care and heating instructions provided. It's not easy to find so use GPS. When you arrive, it's the huge building on your left, no sign, entrance is around the front at the end of the parking lot. Masks required. A definite special occasions destination for me in the future. They close early at 4pm.”

The meat here has more flavor than most of the places I pick up my meat. In the price of the meat here is very reasonable. It's even cheaper than Publix meats. But I still love everything else at Publixs. This place is kept very clean and it should be because it's a meat joint /grocery store. It strongly smells of cleaner. It has what I consider to be good prices. I tried to Make sure the price's were visible in all the pictures as best I could while shopping with my family. The 2 girls behind the Cash register Seem very interested in gossiping between the 2 of them rather than helping the customers. I honestly think they're gossiping about each and every one of us that come in. Because every time a person walked in they would make side comments to one another while looking at that person. They made me feel uncomfortable. I always explain to people that I'm a Google guide and I don't think they cared. They just said Uh huh okay And went back to gossiping and staring at people talking about them. But if you bypass the 2 rude cash register girls all the other staff is great 👍. This is a local owned family Business. The 2 rude young ladies are employees. My husband looked it up and the family that owns this place worked inside cutting the meat skillfully. They are Behind a see through shield so you as a customer can see them cut the meat if you want to. So when I review a place I tried to take everything into consideration. The quality of the product. Which the stake we purchased was very good and we cooked it up right away. Very flavourful in all the right ways. Only 2 out of all the employees were rude. I only point this out so that the owners can talk to them about their customer service. Besides The 2 girls everything else was good so I'm giving this place four star's 🌟.
