I've been here dozens of times but have always found the cookies and desserts are a bit of a miss for me, but is made up for with everything else they offer. They offer a great variety of gluten free sweets and savoury items. Would recommend coming here to get your gluten free freezer goodies.”

“Today I bought their famous crispy pork banh mi and felt disappointed with what I got. Despite adding crispy pork for $3, I was surprised when the pork that is supposed to be crispy, was charred and hard to chew. As soon as I got home, I opened the bun and found that the most of the meat was just the charred part, not a single crispy skin was in the bun. I ended up eating only the bun & coleslaw. For banh mi lover like me, the crispy skin is the most important part. The shop was not even busy. I think, the staff just fill my banh mi with left over charred pork meat that is supposed to be thrown away.”

“Came here for Valentines Day tonight and my wife and I really enjoyed the whole experience. My wife thought it was going to be average compared to the restaurants in South Yarra and etc. Boy was she wrong. The food was amazing, staff were amazing and the atmosphere was just the best and has that rustic French vibe. The highlight was the Onion Soup. I really wanted another because it was that good. I usually don’t hold high hopes for French Onion soup but this was one of the best I have ever tried around the world other than in France. The steak was amazing and the catch of the day was light and delicious. The highlight of the main course was actually the potatoes on the side. Cooked to perfection and it was delicious. The desert were all amazing on their own. I like how they let you try every little dessert. My favourite was the Creme Brûlée. Well balanced! Overall this place is a surprise and it made my wife love the place. We will be back for sure and I hope they maintain the service and standards for the ongoing future!”

“I'd only been here once before, back in 2016, and thought to try it again. I wish I'd done so earlier, because it was soooo incredibly good and delicious. Honestly, the food is great. The food takes a little bit of time to come out (even during non peak times), but the actual service is very good and they're attentive and the meals all came out at the same time, which is almost unheard of in many Chinese restaurants (that I've been to). They even give you delicious sugar cookies at the end of the meal. They could definitely stand to freshen up and modernise the decor and repaint the dirty and old shabby looking walls, but overall that's really about the only complaint. Everything we ate, we loved and I'll definitely be coming back again.”
