“If I could give 6 start for Service, I would. Popped in just before 4pm and the entire team were welcoming and happy to assist. The indoor dining area is dark but this adds a nice charm to it. There's something about the atmosphere that makes you smile. All the staff are having a great time and it rubs off. The food though... Delicious! Absolutely thrilled I chose this place. The Ropa Vieja was flavoured perfectly and the portion size was almost too much, almost. Definitely worth a visit if you're craving some food and service from the heart.”

“We went for night snacking around 9:30pm Saturday night, was so glad to see this store, where others were closing. Neat and clean store, menu has different types of samosa, kebabs, desserts, and few types of biryanis. We loved the samosa chat here. The dish was big, topped with all sorts of sauces. It blended so well. Absolute must try. Liked the kheer a lot too. The chicken samosa was also huge. Didn’t like it as much, as the skin was too thick and over fried. It’s a self service store. Lots of people do take out. Food comes out pretty fast. Looking forward trying other items here.”

“Moved to JC from BK a few months ago. Honestly, the food in this area is just meh…I was grocery shopping next door and randomly stumbled across Our Hero. It’s kind of tucked in and hidden so it’s hard to spot. The smell of fresh bread was what made me stop in and I’m glad I did. Probably one of the best sandwich spots I’ve eaten in awhile. I ordered the Our Hero #10 and it was amazing. Place is cash only but you get so much value compared to the subway across the street. So glad I stumbled upon this place, I’ll definitely be a regular.”

“We happened to come to this place after spending time in the area. The parking is wonderful, it has its own parking lot with other businesses, which is a relief in the Hoboken area! When I called to see if we needed reservations, the woman, Amy, who answered the phone, was very personable and welcoming. They had nice jazz music playing, which made for a very cozy atmosphere, along with the beautiful atmosphere that they created inside. The food was excellent! We had sole fish, pepperoni pizza, the chicken noodle soup, spinach, and cappuccinos. It was all delicious! Our server, Amy, was excellent. We highly recommend this place! It’s a nice combination of relaxed, with nice quality food.”

“I will begin with the positives which is that the food is tasty however, the customer service is horrible as far as the staff’s attitudes and the prices are very high. $5 for a tiny side of rice although rice is one of the most inexpensive items to probably prepare on the menu. The plantains were thrown in a container without care so they were all mashed up. Find a better business to support because this is pretty sorry.”

When they brought it, the well done it was that it is so toasted and crispy that it’s almost burnt. i mean they are levels of toast no? but here they take it to the level of burning. Nothing, if you want to eat burn crackers with cheese and sauce go here. These is not my ideal pizza!!! Also service must improve 🤦🏻‍♀️”

“Took a train ride into Hoboken to walk around. Made a reservation here a couple days prior (must have a reservation and cash only). This was our first time at this establishment and it was superb. My dad had stuffed artichoke which he is still talking about. The linguine with clam sauce and lasagna special were outrageously good. The staff is pleasant, friendly and courteous. Will definitely be visiting again.”

“Cute little bake shop it is super tiny and cozy inside. There is no seating but the bake goods are very organized. We tried the following: Banana Pudding - not bad Ube Flan- a bit too sweet for me Chocolate Chip Cookie- this is a soft bake cookie super similar to the Pepperidge soft bake cookies available in supermarkets. Ube Cookie- soft cookie not very sweet. Ube cupcake- small medium moist with a hint of Ube taste. There were signs in the store that says the chocolate cookies the most popular item but it was just okay. We suggest getting the Ube cupcake out of all the items we tried.”

I think a biscuit could be a better alternative than a slice of bread. - Taste: The chicken was coated just right, so much flavor. Just the smell of the chicken had my mouth watering! And the Twinz sauce was a great option for the chicken. - Favorite: I like the chicken and waffles, and the chicken with fries. Customer Service: Everyone was very pleasant to speak to. They also were intended to close but allowed us and a couple of others to order which was nice. Atmosphere: - Cleanliness: Clean outside and inside of establishment. - Interior Design: I loved the aesthetic and design of it! Very cool and modern.”

“Low key, no frills establishment. Simple seating and service. The food is good and lots of options to choose from. I came for brunch on a January weekend and had no issues finding seats. I ordered the Mac and cheese empanada which was good but I think there are better options available. My friend ordered chorizo ones and they tasted much more flavorful. I also got the strawberry banana smoothie which I highly recommend. Overall, great value for money.”

“Many best friend and I wanted to try something different and we did a quick Google search found this place and decided to pop in . The decor was beautiful. Fox was decent but not spectacular. The service wasn’t the best but there was only 2 waiters tending to the whole restaurant. The bar had no ingredients to make any drinks which was a disappointment because they advertise a full bar and paying top dollar for cheap wine isn’t my thing . The food was ok , flavorful but not something I would want to get again . Over all the experience was okay but I wouldn’t return .”
