The seating was outside. A It was a little hot but cooled off as sun went down. The food was fantastic. It was cooked perfectly and tasted great. The service though made this 5 stars. Very friendly, approachable and you can tell they are very happy to be in this business. The service alone makes this worth a try. The great food is an added bonus.”

Make sure to head next door to the cute little Mexican store they sell literally everything you need to make Mexican food. They even sell the homemade tortillas from the restaurant which are delicious! They play loud Mexican music that makes you dance while you eat. 🌮🇲🇽”

There are so many creative flavors to choose from and even different types of ice cream cones. I picked coffee and chocolate cranberry pecan - the coffee was well-balanced (not too heavy with coffee flavor but not weak either, think iced latte), and the chocolate cranberry pecan was unlike anything I’ve ever tried before. My family and I have been coming to this bodegón since 2009 and never had I had such bad service as I did tonight, the person serving the bakery was very rude she totally ignore the number system they have and when she remember she started changing the numbers without calling them when I told her she had skip me and I had been standing there waiting she said I was too busy talking to someone else… well I wasn’t and even if I was my mother was there paying attention too and the lady never called our number she just skipped a whole bunch. I order to go and waited enough time to notice the decoration, enjoy the music and the curry smell 😋 Fried chicken was legs with no skin and clean from xtra, meat was exposed and ready for a bite, cooked very well done! Onions on top adds the fresh element. Plantains is what some Latinos call tostones, the thick kind toasted outside and soft inside. Sauce on the side adds flavor and spice.
