Oriental Tea House has quite an overwhelmingly large menu however when I came with a large group of people to celebrate a birthday, we ordered many different dishes. Honestly, everything we chose tasted delicious and a special shout out to the Mi Goreng. It was my favourite dish and was so popular among the table that we had to order a second bowl of it!”

“Wanted to come here for a while, I don’t often return to restaurants because living in Melbourne I could eat out every night till I die and still not try them all but this will now be my go to Italian. Was seated at the gorgeous marble bar by the welcoming staff without a reservation on a busy Friday night, a great spot to watch the open kitchen at work and chat with the service staff who are all confident and friendly. Oysters mignonette is perfection, ordered a few dozen, calamari delicious & I should have asked or begged for some take away focaccia with its whipped butter hi Chef I’ll be back for it. Tortelli was perfect, a taste explosion. See you soon to eat more focaccia (and burrata) and work my way through the menu.”

“Wonderful space to while away some hours over some nibbles and a few glasses of wine. The staff are passionate, friendly and engaged, and very happy to provide tastings on request. There are cosy seats by the windows at the front and a courtyard out the back with its own bar window for sunny days. I especially loved the baked Camembert, which came dripping with honey and walnuts, and delicious baguette slices to soak up the gooey cheese.”

“It's close quarters in the outside seating, be prepared to have your back against some strangers when you dine outside. The food is average, the drinks are decent. I think for $60, I definitely got my money's worth but I don't think I would come back. The staff are very busy and it's impossible for them to attend to everyone properly Edit: This review was posted later as I did not have access to my google account until today, the management here clearly know absolutely nothing about customer service at all. Don't waste your time by giving them any of your hard earned money.”
