“Dropped in here for lunch on our way to Galleria Borghese. This modest little family run osteria provides great value tasty food, and is obviously a popular place with local workers. Luckily we only had a short wait for a table. We took advantage of the fixed price lunch menu; bruschetta, pasta or a main course, sweet (we had tiramisu), water and coffee. The waiter was friendly, good humoured and efficient. 5/5”

We were with suitcases and the staff suggested that we put them in their room so that the suitcases would not interfere with anyone. There are not very many tables, and the opening hours are limited, but the place is popular. I advise you to book a table in advance.”

“I’ve been looking for a great japanese/ramen restaurant in Rome for a while, and Hokusai Ramen has it all! The location is great and in love with the design of the restaurant. It also has a small Japanese store with many cute things! Gyozas were great. I LOVED Takoyakis here and everything about the ramen was incredible! There’s a great variety to choose from on the menu and I’ll visit again for sure. There are also some great desserts that are quite difficult to find in restaurants in Italy. Definitely a must!”

“Unique dining experience in Rome where you taste a few samples of food (menu degustazione) depending on what they have on that day. Fixed price menu. Cute place, nice xmas deco. Food and service was great. I find the cabbage burger slightly underwhelming. Fish would be a better substitute. The fritti topped with honey and cinnamon was mindblowing. I’d recommend this spot if you like delicious surprises.”
