“Great restaurant! Tasty food, great environment, fabulous service. Queso fundido was service generously with REAL cheese, none of that liquid queso. Horchata and Jamaica drinks are homemade, we preferred the horchata. We also ordered the jalapeño poppers which were good. Our main dish was the Parillada and was well presented and delicious. Giving a shout out to our waiter Uriel, top notch! Thank you for a great dinner!”

“We had Berbere lamb burger, dolmes, and maakouda (potato cake) for dinner. All of them were really good. The lamb burger was one of the best I had in years! Great service and a very cozy ambience. Highly recommended. Mostly roadside parking but might get tricky depending on how busy the day is.”

“Cute place with great atmosphere and decor. Went here for their $5 special on a glass of champagne and a macaron. There was only 1 person behind the counter, and we showed up right as they were going on a break. We waited 10 minutes outside before being able to go in, but it wasn't long. This is my 3rd time visiting. We left with a large box of 15 macarons with assorted flavors. I'll definitely return soon!”

“I grabbed a few bags of groceries from here. There are a variety of fresh fruit when you walk in as well as a seating area to the right to eat from their cafe, pizzeria, and misc hot food. They had most of what I needed. The layout of the store works well as customers moved around with ease. It’s a nice, clean, and well organized store.”

“Amazing vegan Thai food and I highly recommend!! The place has a great vibe, with chill music, decorations, and art. We went for lunch and I think this may turn more lively with a bar at night. The food itself was amazing. Everything was great. We got the lunch set which was gigantic proportion of red curry, noodles, salad with tofu, 2 spring rolls, red bean dessert, and rice. We also got the cashew curry, which also tastes great. The spicy paste and chili flakes in oil definitely added the right kick and flavor. The Thai iced tea was great too. The lunch set combo is def well worth the price and I can't to go back again. The service was fast, and checking in on us, and being responsive.”

“This is right in the heart of downtown White Center. It's the local pizza restaurant, with a bar section in the back perfect for parties. Parking was busy but free. The location is bigger inside than it appears. The restaurant is very clean for the eclectic pizzeria. They have 2 bathrooms that were very clean. There is also have a clasic game area in the back with a Star Wars pinball machine! And some 8-bit options as well. The pizzas were delicious, especially the Brooklyn. They come in the thin with smaller crust format. They have all the classic soda, & had the Cole Zero that I was looking for. All 3 pizzas came out quickly & was evenly cooked. Portions were good, we got the 18" option, the cheese was even, & the dough was crispy but not burnt. Surprisingly, it didn't feel heavy or oily. Great place to celebrate on a weekend. Midas 5-stars for the pizza & cleaniness.”

Creamy and fulfilling. Excellent people who are knowledgeable, filled with enthusiasms and enjoyments for chocolate and human beings. No doubt we will be shopping here again. Lovely store on a Big Money block of downtown Seattle.”

“The place was not packed, walked in, have to order before you sit. Menu on the wall. I ordered the Willy Lee cheese grits, and an orange juice. I like the tables. They are bowling ball lanes. the food was OK, except for the grits. I did not like the grits they are delta grind. (very coarse if you don’t know what that is don’t order the grits they’re very bland. The orange juice was very good. I probably won’t go here again, but that’s just my taste. I think if you’re vegan or gluten-free, this might be the place for you.”

“We were here for a casual Sunday brunch and the wait is insane! We waited for 55 mins for our order (just 4 dishes) and we clearly asked for appetizers first and all the food came at once and it felt like we were just sitting and doing nothing. For the hype this place has, it's just not worth it. I have been to other Ethiopian restaurants in the area and they were really better even in terms of food. We waited thinking the food would make up for the long wait. We got the 2 lamb dishes, the Fir Fir and the chicken dish. Only the Fir Fir was good, the other 3 were not thay good at all. We had to ask for forks thrice and still didn't get it on time. If you like Ethiopian food or want to try, not this place please. Hence 1 star.”

“Service was just as outstanding as Bellevue. Very personable, attentive, and kind. Our meal came out quickly and extremely delicious. The potatoes are so balanced with a crispy skin and creamy center. Roasted tomatoes spread on the bread slice and topped with the perfectly fried egg was perfection. I will come again and again.”

“Went in here on Thursday eve and we’re seated quickly. Was here for the vegan ramen, we tried all three vegan here are the reviews for each 1. Spicy creamy ramen : a bit too bland, you will need the seasoning sauce to pump up the taste 2. Flying vegan : best of the lot, still added the seasoning suave but the broth had a good taste 3. Fire red opal: this took a couple of spoons to like the taste, it does have a strong taste and felt a bit sour. The impossible bun and gyoza were good. Overall flying vegan was good wasnt a fan of the other two.”

“I like coming here on rainy days and after doctor appointments (or both) for a nice bowl of the house pho, a warm cup of tea and sometimes some egg rolls. Parking: Being located in Bella Botega, parking is hardly an issue. I’ve usually been able to park at most 2-3 rows away from the strip where the restaurant is located. Waiting: I usually come by myself or with my wife, but I’ve come here with a party of several people and have only ever needed to wait a few minutes. Most times when I’m by myself I’m seated almost immediately. Decoration, seating and ambiance: I like the informative wall art on the south end of the restaurant and the rest of the art is generally pleasant to look at. Seating is generally fine. The chairs are sturdy and comfortable and the tables have a good heft to them that make it difficult to accidentally tip or knock over. I don’t mind the cafeteria style setup they have but I generally prefer to be seated in a corner or the walls seats and I don’t get that every time, but it’s more based on how many people are there at a given time and they can’t really control that. Food: As mentioned before, I usually get the house pho and egg rolls with a warm tea. The tea is nice, fairly standard with what you would get in most Vietnamese places. It’s great for a rainy day of which there are many here. The egg rolls are great! Perfectly crispy outside with a bit of flakiness and the filling doesn’t fall apart on you when you bite into it. The accompanying sauce is also nice to have and adds a much appreciated sweet note. On occasion I mix it up but most of the time I end up getting the House Yummy Pho. You get ample amounts of toppings and the meats are good, with the tendon and rare meat being the highlights of the protein. I’ll usually push the tendon towards the bottom of the bowl and save it for last so the tendon has had some time to soak in some of the fantastic broth. Pair it with a bit of basil and any onion you have left and it’s a lovely little flavor bomb. I also add sriracha (or whatever equivalent is at the table) and hoisin sauce but the soup is pretty great alone as well. For tripe I typically pair it with some additional broth in the spoon and bean sprouts for additional texture. This bowl of pho is a huge comfort food for me and it’s always a great day to have it. Service: Prompt and courteous. The staff do their best and I appreciate it. I tend to be quiet when I’m by myself so I appreciate the brevity and kindness the staff offer when I come in, which I’m sure they recognize me by now haha. Overall, this is a chill spot with good food and is easy to get to. It’s near a few other amenities so it’s a nice place to eat at before errands or seeing a movie. Definitely will continue coming back as long as I’m in the area!”

“I love Indonesian food. It always hit that sweet spot between sweet and spicy Thai and the seafood-rich Polynesian cuisines without being either. It really is its own thing—a mélange of foods and cultures, like Indonesia. I cannot rave more about the house sambal. It is made in-house, so fresh and fruity, that I wanted to keep eating long after my stomach hit its spice limit. The wide rice noodles I got are the same fun I grew up eating Cantonese, the same pad in pad Thai, cooked at high enough heat that they remained loose, instead of glomming together into a gooey mess, but not overly greasy either. Yes. They have some less scary variations of chicken satay and fried bananas that would not be too exotic for my less gastronomically adventurous friends and relatives. There are plenty of vegan and gluten-free options for those with more restrictive diets. But the colors and flavors unique to Indonesian food are all there—that bright, aromatic, and spicy crossroad of cuisines, like the glittering jewels of islands they came from.”

Cycle Dogs

“I really hope this place sticks around. I am neither vegan nor vegetarian but a big proponent of the meat/dairy/fish etc. alternatives movement. I had the ‘simple dog’ and found it to be exceptional. The bun was so soft and flavorful (you could tell it wasn’t an average/processed bun) the dog was very convincing and the tomatoes were pleasantly fresh. The house sauces are also very good. Furthermore the decor/vibe is casual mod with some cute sidewalk posts, neon lighting and a few arcade games. Service was prompt and good-natured. I appreciate this location on the whole, seeing it grow over the years from a simple truck- and hope it can work out a way to stay in Ballard (trust me, I know times are rough). There’s not really another place like it in the area.”

“The International district location is better, but this location is better than Issaquah. As you can tell, I’m a bit of a Dough Zone head! We bought the excellent Dan Dan noodles cooking sauce from here and I’m hoping to go back and get more if supplies are still in stock. We did a take out order from here. I ordered online and when I brought it home it was missing a salad we had pork buns! They were delicious but I really wanted a salad. There was also this mystery jar of pretty foul soup. We thought it might have even been dishwater!?! I emailed the store, but didn’t hear back. I would still order from this location in Dough Zone in general, they truly are great.”
