We recommend the Piadina with parma ham, Squacquerone cheese and caramelised figs. A great selection of local craft beers and international favourites. “We visited Bologna in July. The place looked not very encouraging at first, but after a quick look around the street, we decided to go in. We were invited to the magical, hidden garden with fantastic atmosphere. Local bread delish, home-made meat blew us away, and I am not a fan of meat. Antipasto was extraordinary, and our Tagliatelle and Lasagna…just speechless. Service was very efficient and nice, the owner greeted us with a big smile. We will definitely come back once we’re in Bologna again :)”

“Our air b&b was one door away from the restaurant. We attempted to go Friday night but they were closed for a private event. Booked a reservation for 8pm Saturday night. Arrived and were greeted by a gentleman who I think was the owner. We were quickly seated and the owner brought over a chair and chatted with us. It was really nice. He then looked at us with no menus and asked what we wanted to eat. Shocked, we inquired what’s in the menu. He then said he would make us what we wanted. So we took his recommendations and did bruschetta and carbonara. It was the nicest ordering experience I’d ever had. Felt like he curated the menu just for us. Food was amazing - fresh and well prepared. All served family style. I loved the experience so much! There was no music and the ambiance is rustic wine cellar like. I’d highly recommend but I don’t look at the photos and expect that to be available. I think he decides what to cook each day. Highly, highly recommended!”

Second of all, we liked the sourdough bread and the homemade sauces, we thought that it was special. The wine was very good, enjoyed it a lot. But the main course didn't convince us too much tbh. The pasta was too al dente (the gramigna, the maccheroni was fine) and very salty, so that I couldn't really eat it. Therefore the desert was tasty. And we didn't understand the concept. Nice wineglasses but plastic cups for water doesn't make too much sense. Other than that, good experience, had a lovely evening and would come back. Grazie.”

“I love that place, when I wish a good pizza I usually go here. Pizza is really good, perfectly digestible and made with good ingredients, moreover there are a lot of pizzas in the menu, including pizza with pasta (trust me, if you haven't tried it yet, do it) and sweet pizzas. Also the ambience is enjoyable thanks to the staff. And prices are right for what you eat, not so expensive and not too cheap (€ 6.5 - 7 for a pizza). The only bad point is that it is difficult to reach this place without a car. Apart from that, it's a great restaurant in my opinion.”

Innovative dishes prepared and displayed on the plate beautifully great wine pairings. Easily one of my top 3-4 food experiences of my life. I would consider myself silly if i we're going to be near Bologna and not go again. In fact, i was staying in Firenze and took a train to do just that. Entrance can be hard to find.”

“The location needs to be adjusted a bit on google maps, the map will direct you to a pizzeria close by, they also sell fish dishes so obviously many people make this mistake. Then I called the restaurant finally someone answered and told me the exact location, it's like 20m next door. As a fish restaurant in the middle of a mountain area, you can not expect too much. The cozze is good, all the other dishes we ordered are ok, fish quality is good, fresh, but the chefs can put more attention into the flavors. If you really want some fish, do not expect too much.”
