“Good Turkish food, excellent service and vibe of the restaurant. Had birthday dinner with my family outdoors on a nice day. We had a few appetizers (manti, meatballs, stuffed zucchini) and I ate the braised short rib and tried some stuffed eggplant as well. The staff also lit a candle on a cake for my birthday celebration which was really nice. Food was on par, price wise, with San Francisco standards, especially in the Richmond area. Felt good eating the food, which was served with a lot of vegetables. Will need to try it for breakfast next time I’m in the area.”

“Been following Deli Board on Instagram for a while and finally stopped by today. I came here for takeaway during lunchtime and there was a line but it went by fast and I didn't wait too long for my order. I had one of the specials, a.stud (Romanian pastrami, avocado, cheddar cheese, jalapenos, cole slaw, Board sauce on a garlic French roll) and it was beyond delicious! The sandwich had a perfect balance of salt, fat, acid and heat. Only thing I could've used more of was the slaw. Amazing overall. Definitely worth the price and wait (the sandwich was two meals for me!).”

“Our meal was well worth the wait! Highlights were the juicy pork pan fried dumplings and mushroom boiled dumplings. Both of those were exceptional! The 炸酱面 were okay, but not the best. I’d definitely stick to the dumplings. XLB were delicious too, and there’s a convenient soup spoon that makes eating them super easy! We were seated quickly as a party of 2.”

“Wow, this place is a vibe!! I am a frequent customer of Tony’s, and the bartenders suggested I come check out Capo’s since a few of them also work here and the menu is sort of similar but with that Chicago style pizza. I had the deep dish Johnny Torrio (couldn’t decide between that and the Deville) and it was amazing!! The peppers on top made it very unique. Also had the bone marrow bruschetta as recommended by the Tony’s staff and that was amazing as well. The decor inside is also quite nice. I’m definitely planning to come back since I’m in SF once/month.”

“From start to end, it was a memorable dinner. We started with the caviar which came with a lovely brioche and some condiments. We tried the pork cracklings and the duck heart skewers, super tasty. The mushroom profiteroles was a bit too heavy on the bread for my likes but my friend really enjoyed them. The heirloom tomatoes salad was super good. It came with a kind of a sauce that was incredible with the sourdough (probably one of the best sourdough breads I’ve had in San Francisco). The charred broccoli with squid was super tasty although I prefer if the squid came whole rather than in chunks. The pork belly was spectacular: it literally melted in your mouth and the skin was super crunchy. The beans and sauce were light and hearty... We washed the feast with a mezcal cocktail (Saint patron) and some doughnuts. It was a wonderful feast and I’ll be back (for a lighter dinner!) and try their charcuterie. I have to mention we had a table outdoors and they were very accommodating to make sure we weren’t cold. The set up is great and atmosphere was lovely. I gave only four stars to the service because they offered to taste the wine to the only man amongst us. They said it was because they thought he was the one ordering the wine. Even if that was the case, I appreciate if they asked the table instead of assuming is the man who chooses and tries the wine. They apologised, but I thought is worth mentioning.”

“This place is special. I ordered chicken and waffle. Both chicken and waffle are crispy from the outside and tender inside. I am surprised with waffle because the moisture and a bit of chewyness are still there. Usually crispy waffle tends to disintegrate and lacks texture. However, this place knows how to make it right. I appreciated a small gesture in the dish like blueberry garnish, high quality syrup, and generous whipped butter. Oh the chicken is well dressed with spices and salt so it is flavorful dish as well. I would love to come back to this place to eat the same thing over and try other dishes too.”

“This long time local bakery maintains its history of great taste and unusual combinations. I like their large chunk fig bread reminiscent of similar Parisian loaves. And the cherry chocolate bread doesn’t skimp on ingredients either with healthy bits of fruit and meltable chocolate nuggets that smell wonderful in the toaster. Another personal favorite is their seed coated caramelized onion bits baguettes which share their fragrance in the bag driving home and explodes with sweet aroma when toasted.”

“This omakase style sushi restaurant was amazing. They have very high quality sashimi and their specific way of preparing the glazes and sauces to accentuate the taste and mouth feel of the dishes were impeccable. I throughly enjoyed the food and was never overwhelmed by the amount of food. Definitely a great place to enjoy sushi. Service and sushi chef were very on point! My favorite dishes were the Zuke Toro with caviar, the Hon Maguro, and the Ikura w/Ankimo. There menu changes quarterly, but those were the highlights and if they are not on your omakase you could probably ask for it. They also finished off our meal with a poke style hand-roll with the left over pieces from the fish he used. Each group of 4 had their own chef and they only run two seatings a night. Anyways a great dining experience and all of their food was melt in your mouth. They were able to show that you can get amazing sushi from Bonoito and Mackeral. If you are a scallop lover they also have scallop from Hokido that qas delicious. All the photos should be in the order of our menu!”
