“Outstanding restaurant. We arrived here from the Valley of the Temples without a reservation on a Sunday. The Matrede found us a small table and was extremely helpful and friendly. The food was amazing and the best food I've eaten in Sicily, I had the Pork rib and my partner had a Carbonara. I then had the chocolate cake with ice-cream for desert and this may just be the best desert I've ever eaten. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough but please book in advance. The entrance isn't the old petrol station it is just down the road about 5m through a beautiful Mediterranean garden.”

“Excellent food at a cute hilltop taverna This Kampos taverna on Patmos is directly across from the beautiful little whitewashed church in Kampos. The first thing that attracted me was the invitingly shaded patio outside of this taverna located alongside the major cross island road. Lunch options were being chalked onto the menu board out front. All looked interesting making it difficult to decide what to eat. I ended up ordering the eggplant 🍆 sautéed and stewed with tomatoes, onions and garlic. I also ordered the lamb in lemon sauce. Both meals were served promptly. The eggplant 🍆 was delicious. Ultra tender with just the right amount of spices. The lamb was outstanding. A light lemon sauce perfectly complimented the dish. Complimentary sweetened rind for a light dessert 🍨 Wow. .poifect!!!!!! Very reasonable pricing at 23 E Recommended. Final take....GO for the food and the ambiance.”
