“I have heard about this restaurant for many years, but this was my first time visiting. My dining partner and I did not have a reservation, but we lucked out by securing the last two counter seats overlooking the kitchen. I did not know that it was BYOB, so I didn't take advantage of that. I preferred to taste more menu items rather than get an entree. The soup du jour was a savory sweet potato bisque with chopped pecans and dried cranberries. It was well-seasoned and almost had a little kick to it. This soup pumped life into my chilled, rainy autumn night bones. Next, I had the local beet salad with multicolored beets, soft goat cheese, pickled red onions, and maple-cider vinaigrette. The flavors were balanced perfectly and I was so pleased I had ordered it. I also had the pulled pork mac n cheese, which was also very good. My partner had a house salad, and he enjoyed it. I was fairly jealous of the person dining to my left, as she was served two decadent looking desserts. I definitely want to return another time to sample more items. My compliments to the chef!”

“Went for a late dinner with my beautiful wife. I had the chicken rice soup (gluten free) which was as good as homemade. I also had a Sausage Gluten Free pizza. The pizza was one of the best gluten free pies I’ve had. Cooked perfectly, fresh ingredients and tasted amazing. Service was awesome, price was on point and the atmosphere was very inviting. I also saw that they have a ton of other gluten free options. Excellent place all around, will definitely be back.”

The tofu pad Thai spicy was not spicy, bland and in some kind of red looking liquid. Was very disappointed. Thai ice tea and butterfly lemonade were good. Sat outside in this beautiful garden oasis of real plants and flowers under large umbrella for the shade. Plenty of street parking. Found this place based on the reviews coming off the beach at Sandy Hook. Very disappointed by the food compared to the 4.5 star rating.”

“Great pit stop for hubby and I. It was our first time in the area and trying Krispy Pizza. Based on recommendations we decided to try 1/2 Parlemo 1/2 Hot Honey Ricotta and Pepperoni. Great sauce, great flavor, great size. A lil pricey but worth it as we had leftover slices for the next day. Service was great, clean location, many orders to go but we wanted to eat in and enjoy the pizza fresh out the oven. Many more pizza options to try in the future and we will be back.”

“I came here because of all the great reviews, but unfortunately I didn’t find it that great. I ordered the sesame chicken dinner with vegetable fried rice. The breading to the sesame chicken was soggy. The sauce is suppose to be sweet and tangy. The sauce here had a bit of a tang, but lacked any sweetness. They need to improve the sauce to this dish! I expected for the higher price point here that the vegetable fried rice would of had better quality vegetables in it plus they didn’t give you any Chinese corn in it like other places do. The vegetable egg roll it came with was very good! Overall, I thought this place was mediocre. I’ll give this place another shot because of all the great reviews. I’d definitely don’t recommend ordering the sesame chicken here!”

Food was pretty good, well seasoned and flavorful. We ordered the Causa de Atún, Lomo Saltado, Arroz con Mariscos, and the homemade passion fruit and purple corn juice. I would give the food a 10/10 to everything ordered including its presentation. As far as the service, I had no issues. People that worked there during my visit were very friendly. There were three different servers that came over our table and ask if everything was okay. Inside feels very traditional, I liked seeing different wall decorations from the Peruvian culture and the music was simply great. (They also have outdoor seating) *They offer Picarones on the weekends and the lovely part is that it is made very traditionally right outside. We were very full after our meal but will most likely return to give that a try. *Live music on Sundays after 3:30pm sounds also great to come by for lunch with family. * 18% service fee is added to the total. I would love to keep coming back and see how the ambience as far as tables improves with time as this business grows!”
