The setting was gorgeous on the back patio and the service was very wonderful with the incredible executive chef Sylvia, stopping by our table to say hey to friends of ours who knew her. We were blown away with this pasta and my dear friends at La Spiga make the best pasta in Seattle. We were kind of mind blown as each dish kept dropping, offering new flavors, the perfect textures and flavors we both never tasted and were familiar with. Do yourself a favor and go with friends so you can order more and take the recommendations of the server and people around you. I can’t wait to come back to have another legendary meal here. “This experience reminded me why Brooklyn’s food scene is so special. I’ve never had Salvadoran food before, had no idea what to eat, so I went with the safe sounding Shrimp Diablo. I went to order chips and salsa as well when the owner asked if I’d ever had a pupusa. I had not so he flipped to the page in the menu and explained the options to me, listened to my feedback, and came up with the perfect one for me! It came out hot and steamy, very similar to an arepa but heartier. The shrimp diablo was absolutely delicious, so comforting, especially with those delicious beans on the side!”

The brûlée treatment to the stouts and barleywines was a first for me and insanely delicious. Everyone that works there is phenomenal. Irene & Tony were awesome behind the bar! The environment is super welcoming and warm with a charming ambiance. I met one of the owners as well and he was very nice. The pizza from Lala's is absolutely delicious! And I'd be remiss to not mention how awesome Simcoe the cat is! I wish this brewery was closer to me but it's worth the drive. I can't wait to go back.”

The fried dough reminds me of flat, wide noodles in a square shape and pairs well with the lamb and veggies. The fried manti and kebabs were bigger than I thought. They were savory and cooked perfectly. I’ve never tried Uyghur cuisine before but I will definitely be returning.”

“Great place as far as I am concerned. Not crowded maybe because we were fairly early for a Saturday brunch. It was 25 dollars for an entree plus a beverage. We ordered 4 entrees of which only one was non vegetarian and the remaining three had eggs. We shared and I had a taste of all four and most of the lamb hash and eggs since two of us were lacto - ovo vegetarians. It was different from any of the usual Mexican stuff and quite exceptional. Not a cheap place but we enjoyed the food, the decor and the service.”

“A refurbished sewing machine as table and wrought iron with cushy pads as chairs. These are noticeably vintage pieces at this unassuming halal Thai restaurant located just steps away from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. My friend and I each ordered the lunch tray special. It was indeed special: an appetizer, soup/salad and one main dish all come in a traditional Thai flower enamel zinc tray. I had the non-fried chicken curry puff, papaya salad, and chicken basil with rice. The whole platter just satisfied my craving for a sweet, sour, and spicy meal. We ended our meal with a Thai coconut pudding and a plate with nine different flavors of ice-creams and gelatos. We were told they had 26 different flavors. All were carefully crafted, inspired by Asian ingredients and flavors. I don’t know about my friend, but I will come back to try the rest of the flavors next, not to mention the variety of dishes as well.”

Mimi is the best server the place has, was the only one willing to serve us because other 2 girls didn't want to even assign us a table and she was the only one that give us the solution as we were 4 and they didn't have enough space in the moment. She did EVERYTHING in order for us to be able to eat. Was a pleasure to meet her and is the only one that provides a really good customer service.”
