557 Stuart Hwy, Winnellie NT 0820, Australia

“We spent a good hour and a half here checking out the impressive collection of aircraft inside the fan cooled hangar. It was smoking hot the day we visited so we passed on the planes outside in the sun. The writeups were interesting and informative. It is an excellent collection. The highlight has to be the B-52. What a monster aircraft! If you enjoy planes you'll get a kick out of this place. Well worth the $16/adult entrance fee. Bring some water if the day is hot or you can buy it at the front desk.”

91-93 Goldring St, Richmond QLD 4822, Australia

“$35/adult. You can pay at the desk, they give you a quick tutorial and you can wander around. You can either follow on your phone or use one of the handsets to listen to the display information. You put in the corresponding number to hear each information package. Some of them are quite lengthy but overall it's good to hear the history. There is a short movie and 3 rooms to go through to see the displays. There is a store and cafe available. You can go on digs as well but we opted not to go.”

125 Esplanade, Lakes Entrance VIC 3909, Australia

“A gem in Lake Entrance. I highly recommend visiting this museum. A well exhibited collection of thousands of shells and sea life from around the world. The model train display is also very well done and presented. Depending on your interest, it can take between 30 minutes to an hour to view their collection. The souvenir shop in the front is also very nice, selling accessories and trinkets made from shells. This is ideal for adults, as well as kids above 5 years of age.”
