“Visited this historic theater in Mitchell last night and it was an awesome experience that I recommend to everyone passing through or in the nearby area. The sound quality was great, the screen and theater itself were big, and the concessions were good too. The prices for the tickets and the food was very reasonable, especially compared to other theaters. The entire place was also decked out with interesting historical items and pieces that made the place almost look like a little museum which was cool to look at prior to starting the movie. One thing to note is that they only take cash and both the ticket center at the front and the concession booth, so make sure you have that on you.”

“Went here during the pandemic. It is one of the most noted sites along the Ore/CA trail. It is amazing to know how many settlers passed through here, and I for one am glad they didn't try to "modernize" this place. It can be nice for a walk and a little history, but for those of us who had ancestors come west on the trail, these places are like churches! This IS NOT THE CAMPGROUND! That is a separate location, please watch what you are reviewing.”
