“Used to really like the store, however the quality and service have both been disappointing lately. The Tomkin mugs used to be amazing, lasted over 10 years without a mark, but the recently bought ones are having grey metal marks after a few weeks. The service now is also less friendly, seems that they don't care much about the retail customers anymore. After promising me that they will give me some discounts, but at checkout, they've turned around saying discount only applies to trade accounts or if I'm purchasing thousands of dollars of equipment. Apparently $500 of purchase does not worth their attention. Feel like I'm being fooled.”

“This is my closest supermarket so I frequent often. Usually a pleasant experience except for today. It was 2:15pm I had five items and not using a basket, I went through the smoke check out instead of self serve, the girl asked me if I needed a bag as I put my items on the counter and I said I had one and pulled it out straight away, she had already scanned three items and sat them on the bench the next two were put in my bag and on top of one of the handles that had fallen inside the bag, she had no intentions of putting the other items in the bag which I did after I freed up the handle. There were no customers behind me and it is a public holiday - Australia Day. I just hope she was not getting paid at the Public holiday rate because her service or lack of was dismal.”

“As a local supermarket it used to be my favourite place for doing groceries until recently when the quality of food dropped, especially with the seafood and the poultries . This week (20/12/23) I bought a whole duck for Christmas and upon coming home, I discovered the duck went off despite the expiry date (use before 22/12/23). Not only it has already started to turn into a light green colour, but it terribly stank. I returned it to the store and a customer service person was also was shocked with the disgusting smell coming from the small cut of the duck's package. Very disappointing! It could actually cause poisoning people selling such product, which should not be on the shelves!”

“I cannot recommend The Wool Inn enough! The ladies there are so friendly and supportive of everyone who walks in the doors, even if they haven't seen you in ages. I shopped here twice in early 2017, moved away, and then moved back again in late 2019, and they somehow still remembered me! The range of yarn they sell is excellent, from your basic workhorse yarn to really fancy hand-dyed skeins. They manage to fit an impressive amount of yarn in the shop! They also have a really good variety of tools for knitting, crochet, embroidery, tapestry and weaving. I've never been disappointed in a purchase from them. So many yarn shops can be really judgmental and uncomfortable, but I have never experienced this from any of the staff (or customers!) here. It's just such a really friendly, positive space. I had a bit of trouble colour matching for a project last year, and they really helped me to get it perfect. There's a good reason why this shop has been around for decades - it's their fabulous variety, reasonable prices, friendly staff, and genuine care for the fibre artists of Western Sydney.”

“Welcome to Charlie's liquor barn, a very long narrow store full of fantastic specials and promotions. The very back of the store has mountains of alcohol on pallets, when I first saw it that was the first thing that came out of my mouth, mountains of alcohol, I don't think they will be selling out of anything soon. Fabulous staff, on-site parking. The only downfall for me is that they do not sell cold cases of vodka cruisers. But wouldn't stop me from going back”
