“It’s literally a complete scam but the way they treat customers really ticks me off. I wanted to rent a flapper dress, but the rentals were literally all ordered from Shein so a dress you can buy for 10$ will cost you 90$ to rent and they are all picked and stained and smell…. So I asked if that was the only selection. I was then pointed in their highly overpriced buy only section… which funny enough I found the exact same dress I bought from Shein for $27.00 and they were charging $280!!!!! Talk about pure profit! So the younger guy I asked to help literally complained to me saying his shift was almost over and he wanted to clock out… fine that’s great don’t say that to a customer say “ let me find someone else that can help you.” The larger blonde guy that I feel shouldn’t be working in a public setting, when I asked for gloves, he nearly had a breakdown, like I was being such an imposition! So there was a really nice older man whom I told I found a dress but I wasn’t crazy about it especially not at that price when I just saw a 27 $ shein dress for 280! I bought the dress , 30 minutes later at another store found a dress I loved so I gave them a call saying I literally just left found something else can I return this. I should have just went back! The same heavy blonde guy answered as was so rude and said there’s a no return policy. I was never told that. There has to be some disclosure when you buy something especially that expensive but I was told nothing of a no refund policy not to mention I literally bought it 30 minutes prior! I’ll share the dress so if anyone see this there please just buy it on shein for 27.00$ the black dress 280 at the store I bought it on shein 27$!!”

“I had to shop for chocolates to carry as gifts Internationally. I was surprised to see bark chocolate which I had not seen before at the midtown west store which had shut down. Surprisingly there is no tasting offered even when you are buying. I bought chocolates for 180 bucks and was very surprised to see a straight refusal for a small sample of one of the barks we asked to sample even though we were buying a pound of that. Ridiculous policy - how do you expect clients to buy like this? I will be back to my favorite store Laderach who are much better at customer service. Hope Lindt management makes some improvements around such rigid policies.”
