“We went there in mid August. ✔️Pros: very near to Bolpur and Durgapur. Road is good. Location is wonderful. Just on the shore of Ajay river, so you can spend a lot of time in the courtyard. Lot of greenery. Very reasonably priced. Management is wonderful. Soft spoken and helpful. Food was absolutely delicious. ✔️Cons: the first thing.. 👉What I find strange was they are advertising it as "spiritual ashram" but providing non-veg food like chicken and fish? 🤔 we went in a season when the insects are rampant, specially in villages. Naturally, this place was rampant with insects like ants, mosquitoes and small frogs. We had to block the gap of the bathroom with towel as lots of frogs were coming inside. They were short staffed (probably), so were taking a lot of time to prepare food. Place is going through some renovations. I will suggest not to visit during the Monsoon.”
