“I have never shopped in store before. It has always been the catalog. On vacation for the first time in Maine I decided to go shopping. I knew L.L. Bean was located in Freeport, but I was not observant for I first entered the Outlet and not the main store. I did buy a shirt here and the cashier named Anne was very pleasant. We chatted and she asked if I found everything I needed. I replied, yes and no. I mentioned I only saw one pair of boots and thought the store would be bigger. She obviously knew I was not a Mainer and informed me this is an Outlet store. She gave me directions to the main store. Okay, I felt stupid because I am. I thanked her.”

“Augusta tractor supply is a joke. Bought a set of ramps to load a wheeler. Ramps are rated 700 lbs each ramp the ramps bent and they said you can’t drive wheeler onto In closed trailer. “ your supposed to winch it on” then my father went to buy a big dog kennel today they had marked for $199 he bought it was on way out and store manager came out yelling at him told him he couldn’t take that because they marked it wrong and it was $1000 not $199 after he already had receipt and gave them cash. Will never do business there again! Very poor service. 2 years ago bought there biggest gun safe they had 64 cannon gun safe and had to wait 2 1/2 hours to get help to load it.”

“Great hiking and outdoors store in Bar Harbor! Clearly one of the best and most comprehensive stores after looking into others. Some prices are a bit more expensive than retail, but the benefit is you have it today. Some of the brands are harder to find online. Definitely worth popping into to check out hiking shoes, tents, backpacks, lots of gear, suits, sunglasses, etc!”
