“Best bicycle shop in the world. I started with Paradise when I was just a newbie and had a crash one morning… I was unable to ride and just walked in. They just replaced my wheel and do not charge me for it. Since then I have always gotten all my bikes serviced there. It’s the best bike shop I have ever been to: i cycled around the world and have visited many so I think I have a pretty good appreciation of it. The team is what really makes this place: the guys are welcoming, professional all round, and it has been getting just better with time! Well done guys!”

“Very disappointed with Decathlon, Wandsworth. Yesterday, I went to the store at to show them that the stitches at the top of the shoe was coming undone, more on the right shoe. See attached photos. I bought the pair on 19th April 2023. My Decathlon account number/ membership number is 2093099395186. I informed them that I am not a runner, just do walking. I also informed them that I fractured my ankle (was wearing sandals at the time of the incident) and had not been able to go for walks (since the incident on 14th Aug) for nearly 7 weeks. I did not tell her this, but the shoe has not even been through a wash. That of course would have been obvious. I was told a return was not possible because it has had a lot of wear. Note that I had already told the shop assistant that I only use it for walking and that I had not used it for 6 weeks. I asked her if they expect the stitching to come off in this time (regardless) and whether they had any reports of a similar problem. She said no to both and then went on to say I was wearing the wrong size; this shoe was too small for me. I then informed her that the shoe was in fact fitted in store. She did not say anything to that. During my visit I saw 3 different ‘assistants’ but I didn’t ask for any of their names. From my till receipt I can see that I was served by Employee: CB Store: 1040: Tran: 1128322. All in all, I did expect a better service from Decathlon.”

“Amazing service from the guys working at the snow sports department. Tailored ski boots fitting, with very helpful advice and explanation of all the steps and rationale behind the fitting. “Click and collect item never arrived and instead of refunding my credit card they have apparently given me a customer credit. Now after trying to find out where my refund is I'm told I have to wait another 3-5 days for a refund. Hopefully they can get it right this time.”

“1 thing good about JD sports are they are consistently bad everywhere. I don't think it's the staff's fault. Whoever designed the system is not very smart. Looks like staff need to do many things for people to try and buy. Other shops I have been to don't have this issue.”

“I was helped by Janet the optometrist. The store gets very busy at peak times so plan ahead and go when it is likely to be quiet. Janet is so knowledgeable about glasses, she is really thorough in making sure she knows how you will use your glasses, what kind of protection you need for your lenses and what is worth paying for and what is not, transitional, tints, quality of lens etc. Also make sure you allow time (a few weeks) for the glasses to be made and despatched back to the shop for fitting and collection. For sports glasses I wouldn't go anywhere else.”
