“I've been waiting for Little Woodrows to open a location (in Houston) like the one Cypress. By that, I mean big in size and good food. I believe this one has only been open for 2 or 3 weeks. I stopped by with my pups (yes, the patio is pet friendly) last Thursday evening. At that point, their food menu was limited. Because of that, we ordered a flat bread margherita pizza. Unfortunately, it was terrible, terrible, terrible. It was undercooked and cold. The only thing that made it look decent was the melted cheese. You could taste and tell that they didn't bake it long enough. We still ate it and decided not to complain. I assume they are still figuring out the entire kitchen situation, hence the limited food options. One of my favorite bars happens to be Little Woodrows (White Oak), but the only complaint is they don't have food. Anyhow, I'll eventually give this location another try. The inside is spacious and has a generous number of screens. The outside has a huge screen which makes sport watching perfect. They do have parking behind their establishment, but it's hard to notice unless you drive back there.”

“This place was awesome. Being from out of town, we wanted to visit an awesome sports bar. After coming here we definitely weren’t disappointed. The atmosphere is absolutely great. It’s spacious and it’s an awesome place to dine in and watch some sports. The staff is awesome and super friendly. The food is delicious and won’t cost you an arm and a leg! I recommend this place for those that want a chill, but delicious place to eat while watching sports. I’ll definitely return.”

“My stop at The Winchester is always unique but mostly satisfying. I enjoy people watching, but the ambiance is a bit more reserved than the Twin Peaks or 54th Street eateries. The wings are darn good, and their THICK cut bacon (which is in several of their menu items) holds its own quite well against many of the diners and food stops in San Antonio that I've sampled; it blows the doors off of Twin Peaks bacon offering. An assortment of enticing burgers will also satisfy a peckish appetite. The staff is friendly, with a great atmosphere, and with a buffalo's head on the wall across from two Winchester repeating rifles above the bar, it is just a nice place to spend some time from one's busy day. “I went to this place on a Sunday and watched a 9ers game. It was very fun to see the excitement. The service and atmosphere were great, I never had to look for wait staff as they were well prepared. We ordered wings which seemed to be precooked then reheated when ordered which made them a little dry. They weren’t bad by any means and it’s probably for obvious reasons but it’s just one of those things I noticed.”

“I recently moved to the area where the Overtime Bar is and thought I'd check it out. The first time the place was about half full and everybody seemed to be having a good time. I ordered the pretzels and beer cheese they were pretty good. My server and bartender said that they're wings are the best. Me being from Buffalo I accepted they're challenge and said that I would order the wings the next time I'm in which I did. I was very happy that I did. The first thing were cooked perfectly, the flavors were good and it was real blue cheese with chunks the blue cheese with the side of celery just the way it should be. We'll be back to try the pizza too. Good atmosphere and pool tables available.”

We ordered a lot of appetizers and everything was really good. Even though the restaurant was crowded, the service was on point. Our server was very sweet and really took care of us. Drinks were available at a happy hour price but not food since It was a concert day. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and If it hadn’t been this hot we’d prefer to sit outside. Overall a very good experience and would recommend checking the place out.”

“This bar has a cool vibe and a great staff. It's a Good place to go with friends for a drink and good bar food. Lots of big TVs for the games of the day and the chicken wings are nice and crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. The sauce and flavor on the Buffalo(not spicy and no flavor) and lemon pepper wings were good, but the spicy dry rub was the best. Wing day is Thursday I recommend you try it.”

Fast forward to today, I got there over an hour early to get a table. The hostess was not at the desk so I took a table that was not marked reserved. Halfway through the game we are informed the table is reserved and we can't sit there anymore. I hadn't finished eating. I still had my drink that I had only taken like 2 sips of. It was ridiculous, the table was not marked as reserved like other tables were! I will never go back. It was definitely not worth how much my bill was when I left.”
