“Great course. Little expensive. The greens had been aerated prior to playing, but very manageable. Staff was friendly. Had some nice views of the inter coastal waterway. Play was somewhat slow. They have you a cold wet towel after your round to help you cool off. Maybe they should have the cart girl carry them with her while making her rounds to help during the round. Nice they offered it either way. Course other than the greens was in good shape. I would definitely play here again. Played 7/9/23.”

“A nice park with amenities. Good for a day or weekend in summer. Nice walking/ bike trails. They have a nice nature center with lots of hands on for the kids. River access and canoe/kayak rentals. ($100 deposit). They have a camp ground and archery range (bring your own stuff). A playground with shelters, grills and a rentable large event building. They have a seasonal splash pad and playground for the little ones and a climbing wall opening up this year. They have 2 tiny house style cabins for rent that provide all the dishes, cooking utensils and towels you will need. Just bring food clothes and a little bedding for the loft beds. The cabins do need some TLC but they are homey. They are fair priced but do have a $200 deposit returned at the end. The cabin is pretty secluded. Just to note the property across the river they shoot targets on the weekend at least. Just to note so no one gets surprised if you are a late sleeper or not use to the country. You will also hear gun shots from other neighboring properties at random. But there are free art galleries downtown and places good places to eat downtown about 10 mins away.”

“It was a super fun park to watch baseball. The set up was great! They had multiple age groups playing. Our younger boys loved watching the college games. The staff was kind and courteous. Shout out to Jason for all of your help this weekend with my toddler! It was greatly appreciated.”

“Played the other day. Course was absolutely fantastic. A must play when visiting Hilton Head. Kevin and Joe set us up when we arrived and then welcomed us back when we finished. Thank you for treating us like family, you guys are the best. Michelle was a life saver, she always knew when to come around with the beverages. Everyone enjoy the holidays. Looking forward to coming down next year and play your course again Andy and Joe”

“Easily the best golf course value in the area. The course is kept in good shape and the staff are friendly and efficient. The pro is an excellent teacher (helped me sharpen my short game). The practice facilities are first rate. Probably the best municipal course I have ever played. Note to players: please fix ball marks, rake the traps, and fill divots. Let's keep this gem in good shape!”

“Very fun place for fast electric go-carts. Staff for the actual go-carting were very helpful, excited to be there and help people with information. The down side was the drinks, ice cream and food area as soon as you get in! The one who was working this area seams to be not excited or even wanted to work that day! No inventory present as more than 75% was empty and to top it off, the attitude! Other than that, place was clean, properly maintained and well organized. I think they might need more arcade area to help entertaining the wait and more income for sure.”

“Great course. Great clubhouse. Great food. Great value. I haven’t played here as much as I have other area courses but there’s really no good reason not to play here more. The greens are in great shape. It’s December so it’s hard to tell but I think the fairways are in pretty good shape too. The cart paths could use some work but that’s secondary to the course being in good shape. The clubhouse is nice for a local course, and the food is great. I look forward to coming back more often.”

“I’m at a 3.5 here. Course is decent nothing jumps out through all 18 that’s an awe factor. Pretty expensive for what you’re getting. I went solo as a friend was going to come but with rentals he was looking at spending over 100$ to play. The tee times are too close together and I couldn’t play 1 hole comfortably without being to close to the guys in front or the group behind me on my tail. Cart path only the day after some rain so it was a lot of sitting around and waiting. These types of courses that cram people in I do not enjoy”
