“Played this course for the first time a month ago and again today and I have been really impressed. Definitely one of the best courses I have played in Essex. Tee boxes, fairways and greens in excellent condition and the course is very picturesque - surrounded by countryside. It isn’t particularly long but has a number of interesting holes. The course has a small driving range - playing off grass which is great. The green fees are very reasonable given the quality of the course. The only downside is the lack of the clubhouse but there is a cafe on site which we used as well as the pro-shop. Staff were great. This is a real gem.”

“We came yesterday with a group of boys for a birthday outing. The team were happy to change our footgolf booking to the driving range due to the bad weather with no issues, we just paid the small difference in price. We pre booked food for the boys when we got there, and this was very reasonably priced, arrived on time and was lovely - and lots of it! Lovely staff and really nice clean facilities. Thank you, a great time had by all. We’ll be back!”

“Just a hop off the A12 next to the park and ride. Plenty of free parking space. We booked a court to play Badminton online. Took our own rackets and shuttles. The hall was laid out with 4 or 5 courts, quite close to each other but didn't cause a problem. Benches along the side to take a well earned break and keep your bits. Reception desk was friendly and quick. Situated in the cafe which is very roomy. Had a nose around and could see a gym, weights room, function rooms, balcony. Outside had multiple pitches and high level cycling facilities Inc kiddies cycle area. Probably more that we didn't see.”

“Arrived for a 10:30 tee time today. The staff in the club house were really friendly and helpful and being the greedy fella I am I started the day with a bacon bap which was delicious! The round of golf was really cheap at just £22 a head and the course was in great condition! With the rain we had up until about an hour before we tee'd off a few of the greens were holding a but of water but were far from unplayable! Visited the clubhouse again before we left to have (another) quick bite to eat which again was great value and very tasty! Thanks very much everyone! We really enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back soon!”
