“We made reservation for 2 hours of axe throwing and had the best time!! They gave great instructions and taught us how to throw correctly. We really enjoyed that they had several different games for us to choose from projected onto the wood we were throwing at. The staff was friendly and took good care of us. They had drinks and snack for purchase to enjoy while we played. If you’re looking for something fun to do, you have to check them out!”

“Well maintained greens are what I experienced at Golf Club of Texas. Despite a short-handed but remarkably friendly staff, the experience was fantastic. Reasonable prices only amplified my golf outing. The outdoor bar, was a scenic masterpiece. I found it to be an ideal option for those contemplating a tournament.”

“The newly renovated course is in great shape. The greens are beautiful and they created more elevation. They added more bunkers to protect the front of the greens. Three lakes are full that were not hazards before. New tee boxes allow for more variation of shots needed. The clubhouse has been renovated with nice outside patios. Practice greens are perfect. Riverside is one of my favorite trails courses.”

“Course is in terrible shape. It's sad to see a course by Alamo Golf Trails with unlimited funds be run to the ground like this. No excuses for it to be this bad. Small out of town courses with a fraction of the income are in better shape. Update- played June 2023 and course is in much better shape. City courses still struggling with green conditions though. Overall I enjoyed playing this course.”
