Their range is so extensive in every category and they've been clever in creating a space that feels like an event or experience rather than just a shop to buy stuff. I spotted a basketball court and a soccer (kicking) room amongst other sporting stations. The service I received from a young lady in the kids shoe section was so helpful. She didn't leave our side until we found 2 pairs of shoes that we needed after the original pairs we wanted were unavailable. She also took care to check the fit which was a great help. When you're a mum-shopper with kids in tow, you're often doing all the things all at once so oftentimes don't always get offered the help. Thanks Rebel Knox, always leaving your store happy (not so much the bank account though)!”

“Pretty ordinary store based on the few occasions I've shopped there. They seem to lack a lot of basic sports equipment that was so prevalent in Rebel stores back in the 00s. I was particularly annoyed when I asked a worker for help the other day and was greeted with an "I'll be with you in a sec". This was just before the worker read the riot act to his junior staff right in front of me, a customer. It was quite inappropriate of "Ty", at least according to his name badge.”

“- the best location, right near town hall - easily accessible by either train or bus. I have always seen people setting up their tents and sleeping gear to line up overnight for a new drop. I’ve only been here once or twice but the last time I went, the lady who helped me was very friendly and helpful. She was patient and guided me through the popular shoes and what was in at the time and the latest drops. She also explained the refund/ returns policy (since I was looking for a gift), and made sure I was happy with everything. They have a good range of clothing, shoes and accessories, and the store is huge. I would recommend it!”

“Where do I even start? My mum and I went in looking for gear for a long trek, completely unsure of what we'd need and basing all our decisions on research. Cameron greeted us at the door and immediately jumped in to help us find everything we needed. We were there for a long time ime and he never failed to check in and ensure we had everything we needed. On top of that, he helped us adjust the fit of our bags, he provided advice and reassurance on fit and design of shoes, and was just generally knowledgeable and incredibly friendly and helpful. It was so wonderful to receive that level of service and help, and we found it very reassuring to have our research reinforced and expanded upon. I believe it was Nessie who processed our purchases at the till and, again, she was friendly and knowledgeable and made sure to explain all the returns policies for if we have any issues. All the staff were wonderful and eager to lend a hand if we couldn't find a size or were unsure about anything. The customer service at Paddy Pallin absolutely made my day!”

“We bought the kids a PS5 for xmas. They happily took our almost $800, got an email they were out of stock. Went in the store to see if they could help. Was pretty much told too bad, go find a store with them in stock. While EB was sitting with our money to buy one, so if we found one elsewhere (not EB) couldn't get it anyway because we didn't have our money We had to write list of every EB in Vic and started googling. 9 stores in found one, but have to make a 300km round trip to get it.. thankfully at EB also (because there's no way of telling what they have anywhere) so didn't need refunda to be processed over days, further lessening our chances of getting one. Pretty poor form from EB IMO. The online buying structure is very broken and buyer should be very aware”
